Bio and Links
Bio Photo Family research has been a part of my life for over 30 years. I do volunteer work at the LDS Family History Center located in my neighborhood even though I am not Mormon. I call myself the gentile librarian. I live on the west side of Houston in Katy. I was born in Waco, Texas and go there every few months to be with family. Many of my family members are buried in the Robinson Cemetery south of Waco going back to my great-great-grandmother. Growing up in Robinson, a farming community at the time, was a wonderful experience.

At the age of fifteen my parents and I moved to Texarkana, Texas. I completed high school and junior college in Texarkana. While attending UT my parents moved back to Robinson. I did six months of active duty in the Marine Corps and five and a half years in the reserve program. After completing the six months active duty, I moved to Houston, TX to seek my fortune. I would have to say my wife, children and grandchildren are my fortune. I am happily married and retired and have eight grandchildren which add joy to my life. If you think I can help you, feel free to contact me.

If you have any corrections or additions to a memorial, please let me know. If you would like for me to transfer a memorial, please let me know.

Linneous Pauley
Hi Robert. Are you somehow related to Linneous? He and Harriett were my great great grandparents.

Thank you Robert. Horace Baldwin's parents were David Rice, b. 1786 in Weymouth, Suffolk, MA, d. 1867 in Three Rivers, Hampden, MA. His mother was Patty Hall, b. 1790 in Walpole, Norfolk, MA, d. 1877 in Springfield, MA. Hope that helps. I haven't completed research on this family yet.

Memorial #73101295
Hello Robert,
I'm writing to ask your permission to use the photo you posted for Mr. Horace Baldwin Rice, Memorial #73101295. He is in my Rice family tree. I'd like to use it in my own personal family tree, and also in the tree I have posted on I will of course acknowledge you, and also Find A Grave.
I'd sincerely appreciate it!

59309570 Berry Bryan Sasser
I received your edit request to add parents to Berry Bryan Sasser. I have documented and researched this family for seven years as a volunteer researcher for Olivewood Cemetery. I will gladly add Jane Davis Sasser as his mother as there is definitive proof of the relationship and she is also buried at Olivewood. I also personally believe there is enough evidence to ascribe B B Sasser as his father, which I have done on with extensive notes and sources. But, I don't believe findagrave is the right forum for stating definitively that B B Sasser is the father even if we believe it to be true after research. If you have additional evidence or sources beyond the information I have provided on or you are a descendant with evidence, I will gladly reconsider my answer as regards the edit.

RE: Isaac Rutledge
Hi -

The Rebecca Buchanon (sp) info was pulled off the web; it's not actually my family, but my uncle's.

He's both related by marriage AND a distant cousin. ha

I strongly suspect it came from LCT Pioneers, some of which are online.

So she may or may not have been previously married...I don't know. But Logan research has been done as a result of Rutledge research, and that's how I happened upon it.

Found this...just a quick Google search:

Isaac Rutledge and Rebecca Buchanan were married Sept 29, 1858

It comes from:

Will of David Buchanan b. Sept 29, 1802

By Julia Clark July 05, 2009 at 10:48:06

It says "Will" but references a Bible.

This is probably her, from the same site:

Rebecca Ann Buchanan was born Mar 10, 1838

His wives are also referenced in the Goodspeed History for LCT, which has been transcribed can be hunted down online.
