Re: Frederick J Ott, Sr.
Could you please transfer management of Frederick J Ott, Sr's memorial # 89111359 and also his wife Ann Maus Ott memorial # 89110571 to me? Ann Maus Ott is my 1st cousin 3x removed. Thank you for creating memorials for them. My contributor number is #47538420.

Thank you for trying so hard to find a memorial for her. I really appreciate your efforts and will do some further research and see what I can find out. Thanks so much.

RE: Re: Dillon Cemetery

You sent this e-mail some time ago, but I have never before checked my e-mail on FindaGrave. My Dad found the old Dillon Cemetery 15-20 years ago. He restored it by removing many trees, re-setting a number of stones, and repairing the fence. He also re-filled the board for the cemetery with interested folks, and has kept it up since. I checked his burial list, but no John Wesley Sands is listed. However, a number of stones have been lost or removed during the time the cemetery was not maintained. My Dad has worked with a number of folks to get new stones put into the cemetery for family members buried there. If you want to get there it is best that you contact my Dad. You have to drive across a farm, across Cole Camp Creek, and into a hay field to get there. Let me know if you are interested. I live out of state but get back that way frequently so I could also get you out there. Steve

2nd Cousin 1x Removed
You are right about our relationship. I had thought you might be my generation, not the next. Just got confused. Geo W is my GG grandfather. Not GGG. Sorry for that. You are 3rd cousin to my children. So glad to find a relative on the Ellis side. We have never known any. We only knew Magee relatives.
Yes my mom is still alive, and my dad too. I have been blessed that way. In the process of moving them to a retirement community. But they are very healthy for their age.

GW Ellis
Hi again. We are cousins! 3rd I think. My Grandfather was Elmer Ellis. Charlie's son. He married Florence Magee. My mother is Joyce Ellis -Elmer and Florences 6th child. I never met Elmer, he died in 1940, when my mother was 9. From a bee sting. My mother says she remembers her Aunt Anna :).

George Washington Ellis
Sorry about the aborted msg. I saw your tribute on GW Ellis grave on this website. He is my GGG Grandfather through his son Charlie. We have been looking for Charlie's father for a number of years and just found this line. Are you related to GW? And ifnso, through which line?

Thanks for adding the photos. Although we can't be positive it's correct, it seems very likely.

I've checked census records and couldn't find a Margaret, Margret or even a Maggie. Of course, she could have died as an infant, too, and never made it into the census.

It's also possible that the name Lula May is not correct and it should actually be Lula Margaret.

Hopefully someone somewhere sometime knows and can fill us in.

Re: Hoping all is ok?
Hi Diana -
I was just reinstated today after going on hiatus in January. I'll just have to get a thicker skin to deal with some of the attitudes of other contributors. I'll just transfer any memorials requested since Findagrave doesn't even follow their own rules anymore. Third cousin, twice removed...sure you can have 'em cuz Findagrave will take them away anyway, shoot they don't even have to be related at all anymore.

I'm wondering if Margret is also a Woolery. It looks like the Woolery name comes below and between Lula and Margret.
