I have been photographing grave stones since the 1980's in the southern N.J./PA area. I first started (like many) with my own family tree, and then I started photographing tombstones of Civil War and Revolutionary War Veterans' gravesites (among others) in the late 1980's. I moved to southeast GA in 1996 and continued with my project. I have MANY more photos (about 2000) than the ones I have posted on FIND-A-GRAVE. Any changes or corrections to my photos or information please feel free to contact me. Also anyone wanting to use my photos for ANY reason, please ask first. Thanks.

P.S. I've also been (since the early 1970's) a HUGE Philadelphia PHILLIES and FLYERS fan!! Greg (THE BULL) Luzinski was my favorite Phillie!

Charles Ewing Elmer (1819-1889)
Hi Kurt,
I'm wondering where you found the great photo of Charles Ewing Elmer (1819-1889). Thanks very much for posting it. Best wishes, Peg

RE: Margaret Corson Epitaph (N.J.)
Hi Kurt, I checked the photo out with a magnifying glass and you were right about the age of 21. However, it is 5 months and again you were right about the days of 11. Thanks for the information (I am not related). Head of the River was the first cemetery I walked and photographed a long time ago. That was also a nice story you told me. God Bless you. Joz

Parents
Good morning,

I was wondering if you knew who LTC Joseph Smith Cone's parents were. I am hoping he is a distant relative of mine.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Jacob Corson
Just out of curiosity, did you do any digital enhancement of the photo you took of Jacob Corson's headstone in 1993? I ask because I added a picture of the same headstone today (5 Mar 2011), and there's quite a difference. It's deteriorated so much in just the past 18 years.

Button Gwinnett
I would like to obtain a copy of your image of the burial monument for Gwinnett. I need it for reproduction in a book, and there is a minimum requirement of 300 dpi.

The image can be sent to my contact person at the University of Chicago Press.

Please let me know whether this is possible.
