I have been into family history since 1973. I transcribed all cemeteries in town Schleswig, Manitowoc County, WI in 1974.
If you have corrections or additions to anything I have on please let me know.

I've added a new virtual cemetery -- Cemetery X. In my research I am finding obits for people who have some connections in Calumet County, but I don't know where they are buried.

If you have cemetery stones that need cleaning or repair work on old cemetery stones, Shane Peik, has a Chilton, Wisconsin based service.

RE: Pliny Florney Jewett photo
Thank you, Rose. The city of St. Cloud, FL, where I live, was created in 1909 as a retirement community for Union veterans of the Civil War. It seems Mr. Jewett was never on the local GAR postís roster (on which most previous research was based,) so had been overlooked.

Iím curious about the lovely photo you posted for Pliny Florney Jewett, # 40141274. Are you related to Mr. Jewett?
I live in St. Cloud, FL, & been researching veterans in our Mt. Peace cemetery. I would appreciate any other info you might have on him. Thanks.

Violet Boettcher Siebers Photo
Hi Rose,

Thank you very much for posting the wedding photo of Henry & Violet Boettcher Siebers (#11234713).

Would you happen to have any other Boettcher photos? Violet was my great-grandma Marion's sister.

Kind Regards,

Appreciation for Newspaper Listings
Rose, I just wanted to say thank you for all your work - but most of all for including the newspaper information on your obituaries! What a marvelous and verifiable resource. Thank you again.

Hi Rose, I am a great great granddaughter of John Arnold (through his daughter Ann Arnold Gropp) and have been doing research about his other 5 daughters. Can you please link the memorials of 3 of his daughters (Elizabeth Arnold Mumm #112531543, Catherine Arnold Becker # 67356468, and Mary Jensen #115295291) with their father John Arnold # 298363? Thanks! Katy Gropp

Thank you for your care of my "family"
Dear Rose,

I hadn't been back to look at the Memorials for the Schluchter family of Stockbridge/Chilton/Calumet area for some time. But yesterday, after having a breakthrough tracing the family back two or three more generations in Germany, I checked the memorials again and discovered the wonderful obituaries etc that you had added to these sites.

Thank you. It is so wonderful to have that information. It makes these people so much closer, so much more real to me.

Peter Schluchter is my second great grandfather, and Rosina Schluchter Luethge is my great grandmother.

Again, thank you.
