Please copy pictures if you desire.
My pictures have survived house fires, floods, tornadoes, family breakups and the Great Rebellion. They have been transported miles in a wagon or handcart, trains, planes and automobiles. Some were carried by soldiers to wars in all parts of the world.
Enjoy them to honor those who protected them!!
Blessings!! | |

 | Henry Adcock Henry and Sarah Swilling Adcock are my gr-gr grandparents. How did you find he was buried at Rattletrap Cemetery. Family story, from the many cousins I have corresponded with, is he left the Philadelphia, Miss. area about 1896-7 to go back to Georgia to find some of his Civil War compatriots and be buried with his family believed to be in the Newnan, Cowetta Co. area. I have not been able to locate a marriage record for them, Sarah was still in the home with her family in the 1850 census of Chattooga Co. Ga. My gr grandfather is their oldest child Joseph Valentine Adcock. Would love to hear from you, maybe you can answer some questions for us. Thanks, Gloria Craig | | | JANIS MCGANN

 | Watsons of Polk/Bolivar/Springfield Luann, yes, Mary Etho Watson was my grandmother. She was the daughter of Henry Monroe Watson and Jessie Maud Nash, both buried in Turkey Creek. If you'd like, you can e-mail me at dhyoung at swbell.net and we can exchange information. I'd love to know what other stories you have on the Watsons and I have lots of other photos of the Watsons and Nashes, many I can't identify. Maybe you'd recognize some of them? | | | ICEMAN
