Of special interest to me is locating the children and grandchildren of Nathan Howell of Chester, Morris County, New Jersey. My goal is to link as many of Nathan's children and grandchildren to Nathan. If you can help in this matter please contact me. |
If you think you have information to add on one of my graves or have questions please contact me. On a personal note I am a World History teacher who enjoys travel, raising birds (cockatiels, parakeets, etc), reading, history and genealogy.
I am researching the following surnames in Hunterdon, Morris Counties of New Jersey.
Other family names of interest to me on my mother's side of the family are:
|Find A Grave Friends|
Alan Leidner, Allyson Clawson, andrea price-Jo..., Cindy Clark, Ellie Burd, Frank K., Jeffrey Fisler, Jim Howell, John Smolarek, Kathy Howell, Michael Holmes, MSA, Neil Gest, Rich H.

Have been doing research on the Howell line for a friend, and came across a book on the descendants of Peter Hallock on ancestry card catalog----this book says that Richard Howell married Elizabeth Hallock, daughter of William, and that William Hallock was the son of Peter Hallock. The book says that Peter Hallock married as his 2nd wife Margaret- widow Howell, and Peter Hallock brought his wife Margaret widow Howell with her son Richard Howell to America. Margaret Howell, would be Richard Howell's mother and the 2nd wife of Peter Hallock according to this information.
Do you have any information on Margaret, mother of Richard Howell and who she really married ----was it Peter Hallock, or Peter's son William that Margaret the widow Howell married?
According to this book, Elizabeth Hallock, who married Richard Howell, was the granddaughter of Peter Hallock and the daughter of Peter Hallock's son William. And Richard Howell's mother Margaret (widow Howell) married Peter Hallock.

I noticed the amount of work you put into the Howell family and hope you might be of some assistance - Have you come across anything on Isaac bc 1757 m Susannah Fleming?? I believe they are born and died in Hunterdon.. Susannah was married to John Reeder of my line and I was hoping to "tie" in Isaac...thanks for the help! Donna aka lulu
