One day these headstones may be gone for good, I am on a quest to photographically preserve as many as I can. |
Hello there :)
I have been using F.A.G since I was sixteen and have found this place to be a rewarding and satisfying experience, I do not get a prize for any of this, not even a badge. All this is done with my own time, money and effort.
I am currently in the process of photographically documenting sections at Riverside National Cemetery, instead of randomly photographing stones.
Please send any edits, requests or information through the edit button.
If I have uploaded a photo when there is an existing one it is because I feel, per FAG's guidelines that is significantly better, I would never add a photo to a page if it is not needed.
I am not related to anyone on F.A.G except those in my virtual family cemetery. You may use ANY photo I have uploaded that is of a gravestone or cemetery. No need to ask for permission, furthermore if you need a transfer, please do not hesitate to ask, relationship is not an issue for me.
I am all about helping & Sharing. ♥
Thanks for stopping by!

I just got redirected to this site while doing some research on my family tree. You have an entry for my mother and father: Irvin Jakob Engler and Margaret U Engler at the Riverside National Cemetery. I quite appreciated stumbling onto your photograph.

using the beta were you able to delete or remove some of the pics i added to the wrong names? I know some had like 4 images of all sides by mistake but cant find them to edit them so thought maybe there was a way to do in during transcription? best example would be the Innes of Siloam. Just curious
I just wanted to say thank you for updating the memorials. You work quick :)

|Dave Van Bibber||THANKS SO VERY MUCH|
Sadie: Thank you so very much for your dedication and efforts in documenting the memorials at the Riverside National Cemetery. Upon my uncle Louie's death I did not know where he and his wife were buried. Thanks to you, Ancestry.com and Find A Grave I was able to locate both as Find A Grave Memorial# 123719009. Thanks again for the information and especially the photos. - Dave Van Bibber, 20 Aug 2014.
|Syd Gardner||Regarding your note ~|
about photo attached to the memorial 103486762 for Louis C Jones. If you take a look at the Find A Grave member's name below the photo, you'll see that I didn't attach the photo - it was done by someone else, and as such I'm unable to detach it.
My only solution, other than trying to get that person to delete it (which doesn't usually work for me for some reason or other), is to delete the entire memorial.
I do appreciate you bringing it to my attention, though. Thanks.

No worries I need to go through and fix the photos still and happened to see them. Was my first attempt transcribing with the app so now I know what group does lol
