I love genealogy and the thrill of seeing a photograph of an ancestor's headstone. I am researching family histories for Silvan, Ruiz, Gonzales, Souza, Medeiros, Hubbard, Chubb, Bridge and relatives in between.|
Most of the memorials and photos I create are related to my family. If any of the family members more directly related want to maintain a site, please contact me to discuss transferring to your control.
Please send your transfer request using "Suggest a Correction" under the "Edit" tab
on the memorial page. Send a request for EACH memorial that you want a transfer.
If there should be any memorial, photo or any information that I have added to this site you would like corrected or removed, please let me know and I will do so immediately.
I have been the recipient of other volunteer photographer's help and I, in turn, am happy to photograph gravestones in my area.

I am surprised that you found info in CA Death Index since she died in Nevada.
Dolly is my aunt. Her baptism record originally had her name as Rosalina but it was corrected at some point in time to Rosalyn. I have never found a reference to a middle name. I am going to have to send for a copy of her birth certificate to end this question.
I spoke with Jim last night to confirm burial information but did not touch on name question.

Received your message and checked the site. By creating the memorial you have already linked Dolly to her mother and siblings.
I have a question regarding her name. How did you verify the spelling of Rosalyn and where did the middle name of "Marie" come into being. I have not been able to verify this info in my genealogy searches.
I am happy to learn that she and John have been interred in their final resting place.

btw, did you know your headstone photo of this stone is loaded upside down??? I saw it had no flowers, and went to leave flowers there, when I saw brown sky and blue earth! :) You can reverse it in your computer before reloading it, using the "rotate" buttons...

Please consider asking the current manager for a transfer. It is in everyone's best interests (including those volunteers who hoard and compete for numbers in spite of them not liking it) if all memorials are in the management of someone who cares for that person - family or friend - rather than a stranger. :) Just my own opinion, of course, and that of most Find-a-Grave volunteers. :) Blessings on you as you find more branches on your family tree! So glad I could help you.
