RE: Charles Hoop
Charles' memorial has been updated and a notification has been sent to Spring Grove about making a name change on their website. They usually respond within a week. They will make changes to the website entries if it matches with an interment record - which in this case, it does.

RE: Charles Hoop
Try going to the Spring Grove website at Under the tab "Locate a Loved One", type in "Hoop" under last name. All of the "Hoop"'s that are buried in the cemetery will show up. Double click on a name and it will open up an interment record that should give you pretty good info- most of the time. It looks like Charles Hoop's wife is buried in Section 105 Lot 21E space 2.

RE: Charles Hoop
You're welcome! I should be able to get the
Findagrave memorial changed in a few days. I have already sent an email to my connection at Spring Grove. Since the interment record says "Hoop", they will have no problem correcting it on their website. They do it lots of times!

RE: Hattie Holmes #112740323
I need to qualify my answer to you. Hattie was married to my great-uncle, Charles Aaron Holmes.
She was my great-aunt by marriage. She was a nice person.
I don't have a direct relationship to her. We used to go visit them when I was a child.
I was basing her middle name on The marriage and divorce record. I have never seen her birth record.
Based on the birth record you have, I will change the middle name to Anna.
Thanks for all you do. Nice working with you.

I am sorry. I just did my edits and then I looked at the above memorial.
Hattie's middle name was really "Auro"

She was my aunt.

Also, the marriage and divorce record both show
the middle name as Auro.
