RE: re: Mason and Longnecker plot
I think a lot of the moisture had dried out of the stone. It makes more of a difference than one would think. Make it like new. donna

I couldn't believe the difference in so short a time of picture taking, but maybe the warmer weather made the stone "feel" better too! I thought maybe you brought a wash bucket and scrubbed it clean. The inscription was so much better in your pic! donna

James Alexander Hutchinson
Anonymous,

I have to agree with you that the James Alexander Hutchinson (and his wife Mary) are not at Maple Meadow and I have removed them from there.
It seems I used the same West Virginia death record for both James Alexander Hutchinson's.
I have built a new memorial (142907057)for James A, husband of Nancy O'Neil.
Please note that I do not have the birth date of 27 Nov 1821 that you referenced. That is because the West Virginia death record his death at 7 Jul 1903 and his age at 82 years, 6 months and 6 days. Doing the math that makes his birth date 1 Jan 1821.
I appreciate you catching my error...Hutchinson's with the many spellings are bad enough, but when they have the exact name, that clearly confused me....

Ken
