Happy New Year! It has been a while since I've had the chance to work on here. Sorry if I haven't answered anyone's messages or made updates fast enough. I will try to get to it as soon as I can. Thank you so much for your patience.|
My work on Find A Grave is one of my 'random acts of kindness'. I don't do it for credit or to have more pictures or records than others. I do it because it helps someone out whether it's a photo request that I fulfill, a name I add or just a picture that I take. I do it so others can get on here and find their family or friends. I do it to help others with their grief. I do it to fill in gaps on someones family tree. I also do it to honor those who've passed. Every picture that I take, I take with love. I take it like I would if it were my own family's picture[though I can't vouch for my early pictures on here!]. I put it here untouched so that it can be added to someone's family records. I don't want or expect anything in return for the work I do. The fact that I can look at all the work I've done on here over the years and feel good inside knowing that I've made a difference is enough for me.
I have no problem updating records. PLEASE send any info that needs changed or added through the 'SUGGEST A CORRECTION' button. It is the quickest way because it adds the links and info to one mail and I don't have to search Find A Grave for the record. Feel free to keep the pictures that I've taken and added to this site. They are not mine but belong to the family of the person. Also, if I have added a close family member and you would like to maintain it, I have no problem transferring it. Please use the 'suggest a correction' button for transfers too.
Please keep in mind that just because someone has made a record for someone, it doesn't mean that all the info on said record has come from the record maker. Since we can correct things, the info could be from anyone.
I'm researching the following surnames:
Hampton, Howell, Banks, Watkins, Osborne, Collier, North, Arrowood, Walden and Walls. They are from Floyd, Letcher, Breathitt, Bell & Wolfe Counties in KY and Campbell County, TN.
I have personally walked many cemeteries and taken pictures. Some of these include New Carlisle, Medway, Myers, Glen Haven, Evergreen, Casstown, Donnelsville, House of Jacob, Kepper, Lost Creek, McKendree, Newson, Sodom, West Charleston, Terre Haute, Studebaker, Walden, Watkins, Callison and Kyle cemeteries. Sometimes I take pictures of the whole cemetery or sometimes I just pick random stones. Sometimes it's just the cemeteries front page. It just depends on my mood.

|Charlie Bobbitt||Carl S Bobbitt 72078667|
Carl S Bobbitt, memorial 72078667, was the son of Beniah Bryan Bobbitt, memorial 36619781, and Iva Susan Fleshman Bobbitt, memorial 36619854. I noticed you did all 3 memorials. Thank you very much.
Beniah (aka Ben) was my great uncle and Iva my great aunt, making Carl S (which stands for Spurgeon) and Beatrice my second cousins. I knew uncle Ben when I was growing up in East Rainelle, WV.
Could you add Carl to Ben's and Iva's memorials?
Thank you for your help.

Will do for Ray. Please do me the favor of a photo request for Mary D. Lamb which you had as an "Unknown" cemetery. Thanks, Stephen

Thanks for the transfer.
To help any of his descendants I've added an extensive research info about him in his bio.
Again thank you.

I was wondering if you have access to the list of burials in the Hill Grove Cemetery. I'm trying to find my great uncle Burton (Berton) Bruce Buchanan. His obit only states that he was to be buried Sept 18 1973 in Miamisburg.

I have photo of Rae Ann Butts headstone. Also her husband is Ray Runyon Butts (76870140). One other thing the cemetery is behind the First Baptist Church of Woodlawn. When I spoke to the paster he said the name of the cemetery is not Woodlawn Church Cemetery it maybe the name of the cemetery at the other baptist church down the street. Would it be possible to correct the cemetery name to Woodlawn Baptist Church Cemetery. Would it ok to link them and post the headstone or should I send it to you?

I have a question about the site for John Biddle of St. Paris, Ohio. You have his parents listed as Henry Biddle and Sarah Siefert Biddle. His death certificate has his parents as John B. Biddle and Anneti Price, both born in Germany. The information on the death certificate was supplied by his daughter, Alice Biddle Reed. What was your source for Henry and Sarah as his parents. Thank you for your help.
|cemetery saver||THANK YOU!|
Thank you for referencing me in your bios. It is truly appreciated and demonstrates how findagrave.com is supposed to work.
|nannette||Ella R Prye Glaize|
what does the R stand for in her name? And what is your source?
All the census records that I found list a B as her middle initial.

Jane Claypool McFarland Find A Grave# 20626908
You have her birth unknown and her at 56y 11m. Did you get that off her stone?
She was also put there by Wayne her Find A Grave# 71155018.
I sent Wayne a letter telling him about your Find A Grave#.
According to my records she was born 5 April 1789.
Her first name was Martha. There are still things I am working on to see who her brother John's family was.
You may look in my tree. I hope to hear from both of you. Thank You
Barbara (Claypool) Aultman.
