Please be nice - as the person who puts in any number of edits, fixes and interments, I do so out of the love in my heart. . . mostly for family and friends. . .but I also do it as voluntary part of my JOB. |
If what you are asking for is part of my family, a project I am currently working on or part of a close friends family, I will not transfer it to you.
I do not include ALL information for the interment if there is a Death certificate, a headstone or an obit included with the interment. I will happily take the time to add parents and spouses as requested.
If the people you are searching for are from Muskingum and surrounding counties in Ohio, you may find copies of obits here:

|Michael Z||RE: headstone photo - thanks!|
Sorry about that last message...found no Anna in the area around his grave site. I have about 200 more pictures to upload so she might be in that batch. The problem I am having with this cemetery is that a lot of tombstone have sunken into the ground and are being covered by grass and weeds so it is impossible to read most of the tombstones. Also it is not the best kept cemetery. Lots of damaged and moved tombstones. If you know any other name her maiden name or other married name, I can look for that. Let me know, sorry I couldn't be anymore help.

Hi Tricia - I remember the work your mom did on the Clapper log cabin that was moved to the State Fair grounds. My mother and her were always passing genealogy research notes. Find-a-Grave has greatly expanded their site since Ancestry took over. I worry about whether it will say free. A great service to make a memorial, link these family members and add photos. Actually that was the biggest burden that my mother left me - photos of greater family members long gone. I have attempted to put up most of the photos of the Dutro, Clapper and Coleman family members that I have. Welcome back - hope life is good.

The father and mother of Harrison Shumate were John Shumate and Sarah Sally Milbourn Shumate. See Green Shumate info.
Rachel Gibson married a John Shumate but they remained in Virginia and appear in the 1850 census. I have a copy of their marriage document and that of John Shumate and Sarah Sally Milbourn and they are not the same.

I Added the Photo of Basil and Lou Mann. The last time I saw them was in 1956 when my Mother Beatrice May Jones,Klies,Kronenbitter passed, Daughter of Ollie May Parkinson. I also added that photo of Sgt. Joseph B. Parkinson he was killed in action September 07,1863 Fort Wagner S.C. Information was obtained from Ancestry.com. I'm still looking for more photos. I was the Baby of the Family and most everyone passed before I could find out any of information.

Do you by any chance have a 1850 census for Phillip Snyder (81987712)? I have tried looking for him in Tuscarawas County and also for his daughter, Celecta; but no luck locating either one of them.

Hi, Tricia -
I think you just didn't realize "who" I am - we've talked before. If I remember correctly, you descend from Della Alzina McDonald Milhoan - and I descend from her sister, Mary Elizabeth McDonald Frazier.

You're welcome! This stone is in the section across the lane from the mausoleum. I think it was close to the middle. I found two requests in that section so I am not sure which one is which right now. The stone is in row four.
|Vicki Bullard||RE: Jenkins/ Hankinson Connection|
Thank you so much for the forward. I appreciate that you did that for me. I saw your Hankinson Virtual Cemetery link on your bio page and just got carried away, I guess. Yes, we are cousins by marriage, it seems. My husband's father was the son of Walter Bullard who married Margaret L. McClelland, Corintha Jenkins McClelland's daughter. So you two share the Hankinson blood. It is very nice to meet you, too! This sort of thing always tickles me. Thanks again for the forward and for all the good information such as death certs you've posted to the various family memorials.

To my knowledge we are not related, but I remember your father but I don't remember from where. I grew up in the Glenmont/Killbuck area, worked at the Killbuck Bank, then moved to Wooster and worked at Friendly Wholesale and the phone company. Anyway, thank you for updating his memorial and I am sorry I goofed on the number for your grandmother.
|Robert Hill||Deborah Mulford Woodruff|
This makes us cousins.
As I said she is my 4th Great Grandmother.
With the exception of a few links you can go forward and end up with my Great Grand Father William Mathias Hill who married Clara Mae Woodruff.
Actually I do not need this to be transferred, since I have linked her to her husband and I can forward any parents info if I find it.
So are you Tricia Shumate? We have spoken before on this line?
Arthur Garfield Hankinson (son of Hugh Shotwell Hankinson) is connected to our family through the Clappers on my mothers side
