RE: Vivian Morse
You're welcome. Vivian is the sister-in-law of my wife's aunt, so she is a relative of sorts for us too.

RE: Allens
Hello Richard,
We're going to an Allen-Munson Family reunion this weekend in MA. A lot of the descendents of Halsey Allen and Mabel Munson will be getting together. They get together every two years. Al said his grandmother, Mabel Munson Allen, used to speak of an Addie Fenner. Since Edward Milton and Henry Ripley were brothers, Adeline Lee Fenner and Halsey Leonard were first cousins. Halsey and Mabel lived in Connecticut until they bought the farm in MA, so it stands to reason they knew each other. Best wishes Judy and Al

RE: Allens
Hello Richard,
My fiance, Alfred Wilson, is descended from Silas Allen (1811-1883) and Mary Leonard (1816-1905). He is also descended from their son Henry Ripley Allen (1843-1892)and his wife Mary Hibbard (1847-1894).

Hey there and help!
Hi Richard,

I have noticed a duplicate page that you have nothing to do with, but being your Fenner family historian, maybe you would know something about this. Would you please check out Deborah Brown Fenner # 21783083 and also here # 19391682. It looks like same person, same dates, different cemeteries and headstones. I don't think it's one of those moved from a different cemetery, but I'll let you figure that out.

Request #2 is if you will please delete my comments on your bio page because one of them with the URL is stretching your box to the moon. :)

Thanks Richard!

I Remember When
RE: Carroll Fenner
You're very welcome. The name is listed in Park Cemetery records as Carl E. Fenner, not Carroll.

RE: Nathan Foster Fenner
Regarding Claude, I think the headstone birth year has to be wrong.
His brother Daniel was born Sep. 11, 1874 and if he was born the following April, 1875, there wasn't enough time between the 2 births. Claude is also listed on the 1905 Wisc. state census and his birth year there is "Abt 1877." I think that knocks the 1875 birth year out for being correct. What do your records say for him?

RE: Fenners in Wisconsin
Are you referring to Claude Fenner with birth year of 1875 on his headstone?
My grandmother's birth date on her headstone is off by 3 years and no one ever changed it.

Here is the record for Claude.
Name: Claude M. Fenner
Birth Date: 15 Apr 1878
Birthplace: Pine Grove, Van Buren, Michigan
Gender: Male
Race (Original): White
Father's Name: Mason F. Fenner Note: Misspelled - s/b Nathan Foster Fenner
Father's Birthplace: Michigan
Mother's Name: Mary E. Fenner s/b Mary Elizabeth Horton Fenner
Mother's Birthplace: New York

RE: Nathan Foster Fenner
Thanks for telling me where he ended up. I searched for hours trying to find him and link him to his kids. I've now made my page a cenotaph and linked back to his page in WI.

Also, thanks for telling me about the cemetery moving and about leaving both pages to find. I didn't know that you would keep a duplicate page, but I guess it's part of the historical record.

Fenners in Wisconsin
I wondered what had happened to all the Fenners who were living in Van Buren Co. Michigan as I was searching for links yesterday. They seemed to just have vanished. I did find birth certificates and some of the dates I'm seeing in the Wisconsin descendants are close but different than what is recorded. I'll send along some edits and you can check them out. :)
