|Shan Thomas||Old Mineral Point City Cemetery|
We are restoring this cemetery. I am trying to put together as much documentation as possible. Could you tell me more about your work in the cemetery? Your input would be greatly appreciated. (I tried your email but it would not connect.)
I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank You, Shan Thomas
|Carol ||You have done|
You have done a lot of cemetery work. You should add a bio on how you got interested and what keeps you going. You are certainly a taphophile.

Could you add an explanation that broken markers were placed on cement berms.
People will wonder what the surrounding cement is.

Obit says he died May 2.
Could you edit May 12? That's the publication date.

|Carol ||Thank you|
Thank you for all the work you've done in the Old Mineral Point Cemetery.
I was there about 3 weeks ago and got a copy of stuff from Mary Alice Moore's cemetery file.
You have Ellen Hubbard listed.
Typed cemetery notes say Emeline Dodge, wife of J. I. Hubbard, died July 21, 1855. Age 23. This matches your Ellen. There might have been twins,
but I doubt it.
Could you delete yours?
Thanks, Carol in Iowa

I can't tell you how excited I was to find this information about Bessie Pinney. The Herling family had her bedroom set ever since she died. My daughter was the last to use the set before it was donated to the State Historical Society.
My Mother told me she had died by being thrown from a horse but didn't have the details. The headboard used to spook my brothers and me because it looked like someone was peeking over the bed.
Thank you so much!

|ehard Nutting||Permission Request for Find A Grave memorial #83339438|
I am publishing a genealogy book containing all the known descendants of my Bradley and Shortall g-great-grandparents from Ireland and Sun Prairie, WI through 6 generations. Pvt John Robert O”Keeffe in the above memorial is a cousins and I would like to include his gravestone photo in the book modified to a black and white photo. The book clearly is a commercial project, but I can assure you it will not be a monetary gain as I expect to hopefully sell only about 50 copies of the book (maybe as many as 100 if I am that fortunate. ) copies to the few descendant relatives with an interest in the family genealogy. I will include full attribution to you for the use of your photos. If you approve my request, please let me know how you prefer to be credited with the photos.
I attempted to contact you via your email address but transmission repeatedly failed.Perhaps you could check the listed email address. I used .
Thank you for your consideration.

|Jade||Kellys in Resurrection Cemetery|
I noticed that you have confused two different Bridget Kellys who are buried in Resurrection Cemetery in Madison. I am writing to ask you to please remove the incorrect stone photo from the memorial of Bridget Kelly d. 1895 (memorial #22146879). I would ask that you please also remove the link to her "husband" James from his memorial (memorial #35293147). His actual wife is Bridget McCarthy Kelly (memorial #138054675)
You photographed this James Kelly (Memorial #35293147) and assumed his wife was the Bridget Kelly entered in to find-a-grave two years earlier by Angela (memorial #22146879). You then added a photo of the stone with James and his family and HIS wife Bridget (who died in 1892), onto this Bridget who died in 1895. However, James' wife Bridget McCarthy Kelly died in 1892 and was born in 1825.
Meanwhile, the Bridget who died in 1895, was married to a Patrick Kelly, whose actual gravestone I have added to her memorial. As you will notice, Bridget d. 1892 and her husband James are in Section 3, Block 11/12 while Bridget d. 1895 and her husband Patrick are in Section 4, Block 12, which are some distance away. I have been photographing each section of the cemetery so I created a memorial for Bridget McCarthy Kelly (#138054675) before I noticed your error. Can you please correct these incorrect links and photos?
