Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my family (and extended family) history for many years: Wells, Pepper, Walker, Young, Butler, DeLoach and Ouzts. My husband's family: Smith, Lane, White and Mitchell.
My husband and I are frequent visitors to North Louisiana and surrounding areas; mainly Jackson Parish and Bienville, Parish. If I can help anyone while in that area please let me know and give me plenty of time.

RE: Daniel Webster
You can go to to see who I'm related to. This is my brother Mark's family genealogy website, but I'm the largest contributor, other than him.

RE: Daniel Webster "Dan" Young, # 34205452

The parents you provided for Daniel Webster Young don't agree with my info. Thomas Holcomb Young's first wife would have been 58 years old when he was born (i.e., menopausal). Also, surviving siblings named in his 1968 obituary do not agree with those named in William Daniel Young's 1970 obituary (sent separately). I updated Thomas Holcomb Young's memorial with marriage and census records.

H. C. Ouzts
Elbert Cornett Ouzts, Sr.
Sue, Can you share with me the source of the changes proposed in Elbert Ouzts' dates?

The dates I have are from Ouzts Family records.

If you look at the 1870 Census for Edgefield SC you will see that on August 22, 1870, Elbert was 1/12 year old (1 month). The census required the age of each person at the last birthday. That age is consistent with Elbert being born May 15, 1870 but not May 15, 1869.

I cannot verify his DOD as 1962, but 10 years is a large amount, if not a typo.

Bertie is listed in the Ridge Cemetery survey posted on line, but Elbert is not. I cannot find any death record, or obituary for him. Have you found either?

Can you show which one died first, Bertie or Elbert?

Just a note to let you know Benjamin Franklin Ouzts is not buried in Andrews Cemetery in Grady Co., Ga. The cemetery was not established until 1980 and it is impossible that he is buried there. Please check with Lisa Ouzts to get correct data on this family.

William & Thomas Wells
I have transferred William and Thomas to your care...although Thomas is not your direct line. I normally try to stay within the direct 4 generation guideline.

William, and Liddie Tullos Phillips and her 2 children who are in Knight Cemetery, were in same accident. Between info at library, newspaper articles, obits and death certificates, is where the info came from.

Re: Gus Hennigan

Thank you for bringing the duplicate to my attention. Mr. McBroom and I added them the same day. The Hennigans are my relatives. I don't know for sure but I don't think they are related to him.
