Stolen headstone photos
You have added 2 STOLEN headstone photos from another site to the Simpson Cemetery in Middlesex County, Ontario.

They DO NOT belong to you, and yet you have posted them with YOUR NAME on them.

If they are not deleted by the end of March, I will be reporting you to Find a Grave management.

Can I add a photo that I found on Find a Grave or on a different website?

No. Do not add photos to Find A Grave that you have acquired from another memorial or from another source...

In general, if you did not take the photo yourself, do not post it.

Wm. O Fader
Thanks for catching my error. In his obit his DOB is almost right above the date of his marriage. My eyes must have picked up the wrong date when I was putting the info on his memorial.

Your edits for Gerald Rabetoy
Per your edits to make the birth and death locations for Gerald Rabetoy be Ogdensburg NY, can you tell me where you go that information? Everything I have (including his obituary) says he died in Mercy hospital in Watertown NY and was born in Lisbon, NY. Since you sent an edit I would assume you have a solid source (since only known facts are to be added, never guesses or assumptions), but the data I have is pretty specific so for now I'm declining your request.

Hugh Gray
You submitted two edit request to add a middle name for Hugh but you show two different spellings, Arhibold and Archibold. Please let me know the correct spelling. You also had other edit request for Hugh and Elizabeth Gray. Are you sure of the data as I couldn't find any source to back it up?

Seems I am not the only person you have attacked when it comes to requests on making changes on people you are interested in.
Since you have only been on here for 11 months maybe you should take a nicer approch with people.
I do tons of research and just wanted to verify Marion's name myself before changing it.
It has been changed!

Re: John Henry Soldan
Unfortunately, I don't have the Ability to Merge the (2) John Henry Soldan Find A Grave memorials together!

The earliest Find A Grave memorial first set-up is the one. Which, takes precedence & if one finds a Duplicate that, person supposed to Delete theirs.

Only Find A Grave Admin Paid Employees can merge Memorials together.

You would have to email & good luck if they answer! Provide them with the (2) Find A Grave memorials i.d's. Telling them which one was first! & other duplicate... To either or

Right now... I'm battling just trying get them to allow me to Update (our) Billings Twp., Cemetery Find A Grave memorials. Where a Find A Grave Contributor seem to have become Inactive. Don't believe! most Ancestry or Find A Grave Admin know all the Find A Grave Rules.

They say: One must fit in a 4 Generation Fit. Though, compare the Paragraph that talks about Transfer's with - As a Contributor, do I have to make Corrections or Additions to the memorials I manage? Under Submitting Information/Creating Memorials.

No-where in this Paragraph. Does it state one has to be Related. Find A Grave is suppose to do an Assessment to see if Contributor is Inactive. They have the Choice to update memorials on behalf of that Contributor or Find a Willing Active Contributor to manage those memorials Created.

These Find A Grave Rules are not all together... & some are not reading everything and processing the True meaning & purpose of this mission by its Founder. Easy to be frustrated. Note: Attempting to do my best here. Hope you can appreciate this?

RE: Re: Benjamin & Valda McGilvery
Woah, are you attacking me? I simply declined your Suggestion. I should accept have double Last names & double Maiden names.

I updated the other (2) Suggestions.

Note: If you think! I have time to exhaust & do hours & hours on one particular name. Think again. I typically do my Best to provide for Free! Full text obituaries from the Gladwin County Record.

Won't mentioned how many others things I do! as a Volunteer. I asked you if you had additional information & seems you'd like me to somehow figure it out for myself. Well one person can't do it all alone.

Since your response was Rude. I'm deleting your post. I've done as much as I can for you...

Re: Benjamin & Valda McGilvery
Hello! Edward,

Note: I have updated the Memorials for Benjamin & Valda McGilvery. However i'll be declining the one for Valda regarding her Maiden name as: Thiel-Foor & Last Name McGilvery-Brill.

Making changes like these. Really makes it hard to Search for a Person. If you have additional information on Valda like a Copy of her Obituary. Please send me the text of the write-up. Thanks!

If Valda married a ? Brill. Perhaps I can get her linked to him and solve the correct maiden name for her? etc.
