Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been a history buff and fan of old cemeteries most of my life. I am also a serious amateur photographer so being a Find a Grave contributor allows me to satisfy both of these interests at the same time. In live in Virginia Beach, Virginia and work in Norfolk Virginia. My office and daily commutes are convenient to several historic Victorian era cemeteries including - Elmwood, Cedar Grove, West Point, Magnolia and Forest Lawn in Norfolk; and Cedar Grove and Oak Grove in Portsmouth. I am always happy to help out with photo requests.

Hi David -
Welcome back to the search at Hampton. I think that if anyone can find this person, that would be you. I did a lot of walking and came up short. Check my message to Donald. Good luck.

Thank you for adding the link and the information.
Right now I don't need a transfer, but do appreciate the offer. I may ask for a transfer later if I have more to add or will send you a SAC.

Again, thanks, MHN

Would you be willing to send me Jpg. image of O S Dameron's grave site at Saint Pauls. I would like to put it on my Ancestry site. I am trying to document his relationship to Lawrence Dameron who came to this country thru Jamestown Landing. We are trying to find the connection between the Norfolk County Damerons and the Northumberland County Damerons.

Thank you so much for taking the picture of the grave of O S Dameron. I have been looking for this for 4 years. I know the church information says the person in this grave was 18 years old, but there is another grave in Cedar Grove Cemetery, that of Martha Dameron who says her husband OS Dameron was buried on the North side of Saint Pauls and that he died in 1799. After much searching for Onesiphorus, most of we Damerons have gathered evidence that he was born in or before 1767, had two children (Oney and Ann) with his first wife Elizabeth; and it is known that he died May5 1799. I wish I could find more evidence of his birth but that part eludes me so far. Thank you for your help.

Glad to hear that you are doing okay. I was wondering why you suddenly dropped the "hunt". Karen Hopkins and I are the only ones active at Hampton National. I work in this area so it is easy for me to get the photos. Take care.
