Amelia is in my family tree.
I have a question please....why is Amelia listed as a half sibling? Her parents were only married to each other.
Thank you,

Lee R. Dunn in Illini Cem.
I was wondering if you could post the full obituary for Lee R. Dunn because my son is a direct descendant of him.
Thank you.

Gone does not mean forgotten
This may be a true chance encounter.. I am not from KY so when I first moved here and learned about the 400 mile yard sale I was excited to take part in it. Perfect fix for my "pack rat" ways. Now to get to the meaning behind this message..I found a set of very old Charles Dickens books. I bought them with out hesitation. Upon further inspection of the books I found one book to have had a written message in front of the book .. It read as follows.. Abbie hazel petrie born Feb 17th. 1890.. For shear curiosity I googled the babies name I didn't find anything using Abbie however upon searching for only the date of birth I discovered the name Hazel petrie.wich lead me to your post of a woman born on the correct date having a name that matched. I just wanted you to know so if there is a chance she may have been related you might like to I know I would have loved this kind of chance relation... If in fact I have discovered one of your ancestors.. I was wondering if you would like to retrieve this 5 book set. I would love to have the chance to return this slice of history to the your family. If you're interested in reclaiming this collection... It's waiting to be recieved. That said... Have a blessed day. ... P. S. In reading your messages I noticed someone questioning an "a"..not sure whom is being referred to about identifying the "a" but possibly Abbie is the answer
