If you aren't willing to be contacted via email regarding your suggested edit, I will probably ignore it.

Please do not send lists of mothers, fathers, spouses, siblings, children. Use the edit tab to have people connected.

My FAG Photos: You have my blanket permission to use my photos, unedited, for your own personal use. You can add them to your Ancestry trees, personal websites, etc. Please don't take credit for my work -- proper attribution is a good thing.

You may not use them for any commercial purpose -- that means you can't use them to make money. Not only will I tell on you, I will aggressively pursue anyone who tries to use my photos in this way. If you think "it's on the InterWebs so it belongs to everyone and must (or should) be free," you're wrong. If you think something is "free," you just don't know who is paying for it.

----------

Post-1924 Obituaries: I have written to the St. Joseph News-Press to determine if it is acceptable to copy their obituaries. It is not. While I do have permission from some newspapers, the St. Joseph News-Press is not one of them.

And while we're on the subject, please don't add images of death certificates or obit clippings to memorials as "photos." They aren't.
