When I was a little girl I have always been interested in cemeteries. I would take a sack lunch and go to the local cemetery. I would wonder what kind of life they had and how things were in their time.|
My dad, Harold D. Bryarly, Jr. past in 1996 of cancer. I will never forget the look on my dad's face when I told him his brain tumor was not operable. It broke my heart.
When someone I love and care for is facing death, I try to take the time to talk with them about it. To let them say things and dicuss things they would feel uncomfortable to reveal to someone else. I don't want them to be afraid.
My dad's friend, Steve Stone had been sick for a few years and was afraid to die. If I remember correctly, he had come close to deaths door a few times. He was by my dad's side when he took his last breath. I believe he needed to see that he didn't have to be afriad. He passed 6 months later.
Before my dad's passing, my family never really said I love you or hugged much. We do now. Don't be so sure that someone knows you care or love them, tell them, because one day you or them will be gone. I'm no longer afraid to say I love you. I want my friends and family to know without a doubt.
I began serious searching my family tree shortly after my dad passed. I've met many distant cousins and shared loads of info. It has been awesome. I've helped people with their trees. I'm not a professional genealogist. I find all my info on free sites or libraries. I will help anyone with their tree. I may not be able to give them any new info, but I sure will try.
My motto: "Not everything has to cost something."
I don't take money or material things for the help I provide. I only ask that they pass the kindness around.

I was fortunate to be able to get on wikitree. I highly recommend it. You'll have to be added to the trust list by the person who manages that particular profile you're interested in. Good luck.

Hello Paula - Thank you for your work on the graves in Lagrange. You have quite a bit of information on the Malone family. I'm wondering if you descend from the Malones and would like to share information. You have Richard Malone, d 1892 and buried in Greenwood Cemetery. He was a brother to my ancestor, Elias Malone Jr who went to Daviess County, Indiana in the 1850's from Tuscarawas/Wayne County Ohio area. My Elias also had a son, Jacob, who went to the Lagrange area, like the above Richard. If you are not a part of this family, can you put me in contact with someone who is from this family? I have 35 years of research to share and will happy to do so.
I experienced the death of my father in a very similar situation as you. It's tough! I only live an hour away from Lagrange in Michigan, so would love to be in contact with someone from that area about the Malones. Thank you.

Yea it is definitely a bit cold right now. There is no rush. I appreciate any help that may come.
My grandparents passed in 2003 and were supposed to be buried in the same plot as my uncle but I've never made it to Mottville to confirm that. Their names were Lula Belle (Roberts) Ferguson and Daniel Augustus Ferguson.
I have looked online to see if I could find their obits with no luck. I'm completely new to researching ancestry so I'm not sure where to start.
