Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a member and Director of Plymouth County Genealogists, Inc. (PCGI), and currently President of the Friends of Middleborough Cemeteries, Inc. (FoMC). I have researched my Family History and now really enjoy contributing to the knowledge of all people of the past. My non-family memorials focus on my town of Bridgewater, MA and the neighboring areas.

POSTERITY: I publish photos and create memorials here for the benefit of present and future generations. If you want to publish my gravestone photos on any website that you contribute to (except FindaGrave, according to FAQ#142), include in the photo caption "used with the written permission of Chip5610 (#46997557) at FindaGrave" and keep a screen-print of this page for your records. Copyright laws require you to obtain permission to use a photograph, and conditionally - based on your integrity - you have it! Understand that merely attributing credit does not comply with the law.

Building a cemetery index: I invest a lot of time developing and maintaining the cemetery page listings for Southeastern Massachusetts (maps for Plymouth and Bristol and Norfolk counties) and several other counties in the state. I add new cemeteries and I remove "incorrect" cemeteries. I improve existing cemetery pages by adding cemetery photos and the GPS coordinates. To each cemetery description, I add the GR identifiers from the MA Vital Records books and the MACRIS identifier to each Massachusetts cemetery description. MACRIS identifiers are an important first step in protecting a Massachusetts cemetery. Knowing where a cemetery is located is the first step in preserving the cemetery and finding a grave.

Assistance: The structure of the site engenders collaboration. The "Suggest a Correction (SAC)" feature is great, so use it liberally! My e-mail was set-up specifically for FindaGrave matters, so feel free to send as many SACs as you want. This is a great hobby, and I will work with anyone, happily! My only request: Say 'Thank You'!

RE: Keith Kin in Pine Hill Cemetery
Last message for today...I submitted photo requests for the names on both sides of the stone plus another memorial I made for Pardon Keith Bacon based on a death record from NH - son of Abigail Keith and Charles Bacon. Thank you for helping me track family. -aj

RE: Keith Kin in Pine Hill Cemetery
Four Keith sisters in the one huge family plot. Mr. Charles W. Bacon married Abigail Keith and some years after her death married Caroline Keith!

RE: Keith Kin in Pine Hill Cemetery
Yikes and thanks...I think. I am putting up bare bones (pardon the phrase) information to make memorials until I can research some more. And thanks for the other memorial transfers :)
Seems like I am related to a lot of folks in that time period of Bridgewater.

Thanks for at least checking. I never know if there is one or not when I request. I just go by the info I have and sometimes it's not much.

RE: Keith Kin in Pine Hill Cemetery DO remember me :) I have yet to contact the office to ask about the GAR stake at Captain George W. Dow's marker...he was a sea captain and none of the remaining descendants know of his activities in the Civil War.
Thank you for everything. I will make memorials for the names I can see on the photo you posted. I just like making things easier for future researchers and am enjoying the hunt. My 87-year-old father is enjoying "my" finds since these are all his people. Thank you, again!

You and I seem to be in sync. Thank you for the edit and transfer. Wish I could visit this cemetery again and more thoroughly - my last time was a quick drive thru last summer. Now I'm living in TX and MA seems SO far away!

Keith Kin in Pine Hill Cemetery
Thank you again, for the Thomas Packard photo and then making a memorial for his wife Hannah Keith Packard. On that same stone (your photo) are names of Hannah's sister Mary Wild Keith who married Abraham Miller Clark - plus children names. Do you plan to make memorials for all of them, too. I just sent a link request for Hannah to her mother (Abigail Thayer Wild Keith 43938077) and will also request that for Mary if you make her memorial. I would be happy to participate in memorial making as you wish. I am descended from Hannah and Mary's brother Simeon Cary Keith. I have yet to find out where their father, Pardon Keith (1787-1880) was buried. He MUST be in Pine Hill... Your work is SO appreciated. Thank you.
