Bio and Links
Bio Photo Find A Grave is a great way to build a family tree as well as find and share information. My brother, Steve Higgerson, has done a great deal of research into the family history, and his findings are the basis of what I have posted here. Over the past 25 years I have taken many pictures of old gravestones, some of which no longer exist, and it is these pictures that I am anxious to share, as well as the information. My intent is to post information at this site that is free from errors. All too often I see dates and facts about family history that are inaccurate, and I want to correct that as best I can. I hold myself to the same standard, so if anything that I have posted at this site is incorrect, you would be doing me a great favor in pointing it out to me. All information I post is the most accurate information that I have at my disposal. Thanks for reading, and be in touch.

RE: Duplicate
I want to apologize about the duplicate. At that time I was too new and stupid to check for duplicates the correct way. I have moved the photo to your memorial page and will delete the one I created. I have also transferred Viola's to you. I do have a question about his place of death. Since he is buried in Lee County, I wonder if that is where he died? Madison County is very far away from Lee County.

RE: Thank you
You are most welcome! I had requested some photos in another state and thought I would pay it forward. Glad to be of assistance!

I do not have her death certificate on me. I viewed the microfilm at the MN History Center. You can view it there if you are in the area or can pay to have it mailed to you through mnhs.org.

Certificate Number: 1920-MN-009476

RE: William Cardwell
Please allow me to apologize. Today I have uploaded photos of the stone for the Cardwells. I got too hasty before and we located the stone today!

You nay do what you wish, Tom as the memorial is yours. Would you like me to remove my obituary on Ruth Mae's memorial? I can write you a para-phrased one too, if you like. Just let me know. Thanks for all you do on Find A Grave, Kaye

Tom, because they were divorced, I would not link them. That's why I asked if they were married or not? If they had children then you can link him and her to them but linking them to each other in death, I don't think that would be appropriate as they were not married to each other when one or the other died. I am trying to find out about this to be positive. Thank you, Kaye

P.S. You're most welcome for the picture. I will type out Ruth's obituary and send to you to post in her Bio. I think the scanned obits don't look good on memorials and I found out Find A Grave doesn't want them.

Tom, you have written in Earl's Bio that he was married to Ruth Mae Higgerson. Did they divorce or what? I didn't see him mentioned as surviving spouse in her obituary. I also wondered why you didn't link them. Thanks, Kaye Harkins McClintock #47734417
