RE: Jonathan Sutton
Hi. I know they were not the best of pictures - I put the inscriptions in as captions to the photos. I will try again on a day when the sun really wants to cooperate with me.

There are a number of small white markers in the plot which, in large part, are not readable. I am sure info about them should be available at the Village office. I will post the other pics when I get a minute.

Hopefully, when the Village finishes cleaning up from the April storm, things will look better at the cemetery.

Regards.

RE: Benjamin Zigler
I was there to see and find some family on my paternal grandmother's side. I printed the list of requests for the cemetery since I was going... it's the least I could do since I was there! We only had one name on the list we didn't find, but will probably go back to the area within the next month to a few more cemeteries, so we'll drop by and see if we can find it then. It's become a family thing with my husband and daughters. You're more than welcome!!

RE: Katie Kroninger Stettler
We were about an hour from home today and hoping to find my great grandparents graves at Zion Church Cemetery. We did not even though I believe my great mother is buried there. I took a few requests with me in case we came across them. Your request was one of them. Glad we could help.

RE: Prall, Roseberry, Raub
You are welcome for the Caudill photo. I appreciated your help and quick response in obtaining the burial location. Once I knew what section it was in we found it rather quickly today. Most of the burials up to 1995 are in a cemetery book at our local library but he was not listed so I thought maybe an unmarked grave but obviously that was not the case. Your help allowed us to locate the grave site.

As far as the family members, my husband's paternal grandmother's maiden name was Hornbaker and they are from the Oxford, Warren County, NJ area. My maternal great grandmother's maiden name was Prall, and another maternal great grandmother's maiden name was Raub. My paternal great grandmother's maiden name was Roseberry and they are mostly from the Phillipsburg area. The Pralls & Raubs from Harmony & Belvidere, although I believe the original Raub was from the Raubsville area in Pennsylvania.

My husband and I were both born in the Harmony/Brainards NJ area.

Sarah Dietrich Seidel
Shirley, yes, I have that Sarah married Charles V. Seidel. I have a note that he's buried at Dunkels Church, but I haven't been there myself. Findagrave lists them both there though with pics, so I would say you're right. I haven't done much research yet on the hubby's side. I inherited a quite a bit of info on his lines, but haven't had a chance to go through and verify. It's amazing how many relatives you can find!

Cora & Malara Dietrich
Shirley,
I know as much about Maggie as you do. What I can tell you is that the dates listed on Maggie's memorial came from the source listed in her bio. So, those dates must be at the bottom of the tombstone, they are just that unreadable.

I've linked Cora and Maggie to their parents, and added Malara's tombstone pic as well. If there is anything else I can help with, just let me know!

I agree, the church is lovely. I spent quite a bit of time in that church during my younger days--I was baptized, confirmed, and married there! My maternal grandparents are buried there and quite a few of my husband's relation are there as well.

On another side note...William Dietrich's sister Sarah was married to my husband's 3x Great-Grandfather's half brother. Thought that was kinda interesting!
