I will be going to the cemetery the end of this week, so if you'd like to contact the cemetery and provide me with a section, grave, etc. I will be glad to look for her.

It appears we are distant cousins. My great-grandfather was the brother of Polly Annette Willis Palmer, with same parents - Harriet Idell Shafer and Martin G Willis of Angelica, NY.
Nice to meet you!!

Sorry it's taken so long but I've finally been able to post the requested photo to Benjamin's memorial.

Unfortunately the mausoleum at Claquato Cemetery has not been accessable recently due to pending repairs and my claim to your photo request is due to expire today. If no one else claims your request when the repairs are completed, I'll see that its done for you.

thanks for correcting my info. I have deleted mine. Sorry for the mistake. I was just trying to honor the men of the Third Iowa Cavalry with info I had been given.

Hi, Penny ~ so YOU're the culprit...found quite a few Palmers there (did not get pix of all we stumbled into), but we're always glad to be able to locate and visit graves of those loved by others. De nada; you're welcomed ~ and good luck to you in finding more of your kin!
