Due to personal health issues, (that are still rough a year later) I have really gotten behind on my Find-a-Grave memorial responses. My computer time is rather limited. I was born in Chanute, Neosho County, KS a long time ago. Moved from Kansas in 1959. Since then I have resided in many states. Somehow I ended up back in Kansas for awhile. At the moment we have dual residency in Alaska and Kansas. My husband and I are retired contract electrical engineers. We have 10 children, 27 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
I had messed around with genealogy for a long time, but I got fully involved in family research in the early 80's. It became an addiction. With living in so many places, I was able to come up with a lot of family stuff, but, of course, have hit many brick walls. Thankfully, my husband finds this interesting so doesn't complain. I have pretty much dead-ended on my family, but occasionally, thanks to find-a-grave, I get a teaser clue that sends me hunting again.
