Happy 4th of July!
Yes, you made all the corrections perfectly as far as I can see!
I was unaware of the site's new changes for corrections/additions also....until someone kindly sent me a message telling me to check my 'edits' on my member page! Otherwise I probably still wouldn't know they'd made this change!
Have to admit, I'm getting old and have trouble keeping up with all the constant changes! But now I am sort of liking this way of doing things as it is so much easier and quicker. New does not always seem better to us older folks sometimes!
Believe I have found all but one of Ira & Statira's children now....at least the ones I could verify by the census records:
1] Ira Elbridge
2] Sarah Elizabeth
3] William Little
4] Mary Anna
5] Henrietta Thirza "Etta"
6] Osmond Baker
My request for Osmond to be linked to his parent's memorials is still pending approval yet. And I've yet to locate a memorial for Ira Elridge or even where he is buried. Other than
that they are all now linked to their parents.
William's memorial was just approved and completed yesterday...he died in MS during the Civil War & I found his memorial in the National Cemetery there.
Hope you liked the picture of Ira & Statira's tombstones...I thought Ira's turned out very well, but Statira's has become pretty weather worn & is beginning to tip to the right quite a bit.
Have a great day!

I went to the Mauston Cemetery today and took the pictures of Ira A. & Statira's tombstones.
Please check them out! As you will see, the dates on Statira's marker do not agree with what you have listed on her memorial at all. The correct dates are....
Born: 06 January 1812
Birthplace: Newport, Canada
Death: 01 August 1893
Also, on Ira's memorial, it clearly states that he was born in Derby, Vermont, not New Hampshire.
Earlier, I had sent you these corrections by using the memorial 'edit' button.....so you have to check your 'edits' tab on your member page to view them & accept or reject them. That new system is really quick & slick!
In addition, I sent you a correction on Mary Ann (Swetland) Hall.....you have her listed as the 2nd spouse of Ira A. He is her father. I would like to see her linked to both her parent's memorials. I always like to try and find as many of the children of a couple and link the family members together when it's possible.
So, if you could make these corrections I be very grateful.
Have a happy 4th of July!

The memorial number is as shown above 64174897
Trying to verify the cemetery location you have and finding no St Patricks Church associated with Mount Bellew, Galway or any of the three cemeteries are of this name. Do you have any additional info that may help??

Yes, my mother died 4 years ago - in Bantry, Co Cork, Ireland (!)
I'm not sure about my namesake uncle, though - he *may* still be alive c/o the Veterans' Administration at Chula Vista, near San Diego, CA
I'd be reluctant to take on Jennie's memorial (or Sam's) without being sure that no one amongst my matrilineal cousins are interested ... and I'm stuck into the Doak side of the tree just now
[in Ireland since 1978]

You're very welcome, and thanks for sharing the great photographs of the man himself and of his family.

Delighted to hear from you, I would be more than happy to send you Aunt Lizzie´s travelling record and anything else I have that may be of interest to you.
I´m nearly sure I have it on my pc so will look it up tonight and forward by attachment to the email address on your page.
I sincerely hope you and yours were not badly affected by typhoon Haiyan in Philippines, my prayers and heartfelt condolence to all those families who lost their loved ones.

Thank you Retired Traveler for getting in touch, I would greatly appreciate that. I have a copy of Elizabeth's passenger record to the States in 1921 if you yourself are interested.

Hi Retired traveler,
I was wondering if you are related to the Lanes of Three Forks,Montana as you have recorded most of their family burials here.
Elizabeth Lane nee Finnegan born 1900 Co. Mayo, Ireland was my grandmother's youngest sister so my grandaunt. I would be interested to contact some member of the Lane Family to exchange family tree infomation.
