I follow FindaGrave's written guidelines regarding transfers (direct relatives within four generations). This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis. A transfer request will be considered ONLY if your exact relationship to the deceased is provided to me. Otherwise, your email will be deleted.
I am ALWAYS glad to add family links, make needed corrections, and to add appropriate bio information (if no bio has been added).

Thanks for the transfer. If you ever decide to "downsize" remember me for the memorials in Roseland Cemetery in Gloster, MS -- I knew so many of those folks and their descendants.

Thank you, Ron. I didn't see the note but I understand your philosophy of the veteran title. I've often wondered about the same. I continue to use the title references solely because those titles make it easier for those who may be looking for only veterans.
Thank you for your quick reply.

I submitted a name change for this memorial and was denied.
Is a military rank of SP4 not now referred to as SPC?

|RPowell||Cora Dewitt Powell Bates|
Can you help me, I am a little confused about the relationship, My husband is the nephew of Cora Dewitt Powell Bates. She was the daughter of William O. Powell and Mary L. Bond, she, her sister Elizabeth (Eliza) and her brother Parham were living with their Grandfather in 1900, John B. Bond, their mother had died in 1894, William O. Powell remarried 1897 to Ada Cook. I checked and didn't find Cora Dewitt Powell as being the daughter of James Thomas Powell.
Do you have any information about the relationships shown on the find a grave? A cousin, who is the descendant of Mary Ellen Powell, another daughter of William O Powell and Mary Bond is also questioning this?
Thanks for your help,

Thanx Ron for the catch. I obviously had the incorrect Mary Reynolds in mind when I posted. Deleted mine. Have a good day.

Every photo I've uploaded for that cemetery is doing the same thing..... check it out. Also the tombstone for Martha Eleanor says Mary instead of Martha. I believe that this tombstone was just recently discovered buried and has been put upright.
