While I try to research all memorials, I do make mistakes, so corrections are welcome. If you want to add information or make a correction, please use the "Edit" button on that memorial. I'll try to get to it as fast as possible.|
Please ask permission before using any of my photographs on your Find A Grave memorial or on any other genealogy web site. I'm not all that picky about copyrights and stuff. I just want to be asked first. It's the right thing to do.
While I don't like telling people what to do here on Find A Grave, I really wish they would at least attempt to link husbands and wives when they create memorials. Find A Grave is now one of many genealogical resources found on the internet, so make it more effective by linking spouses and, if possible, their children. It helps.

I wish to thank you for the work you have done on the Aimwell Cemetery in Sabine Parish, Louisiana.
My father and mother are buried there and I wish to ask if you would transfer management their records to me.

Thank you for your time and consideration,
Richard E. Thornton, Jr.
Thank you for trying, Yes Nelda is looking also but could not find him. I called every funeral home in town, the one I believe may have had him dont keep records before 1980's (where the heck do they go), the court house, library and Main cemetery with no luck. Im going to request his wifes DC as Nelda suggested and see where she is buried, I feel sure they are together. The only thing left I can think of is making a trip and walking the cemeteries, hopefully he has a stone. Thanks again
I see you have posted memorials in the Many cemetery without photos. I am looking for someone who may have a Many cemetery book. My Great Grandfather was buried in Many in 1943 but I do not know which cemetery. His name was Jessie Franklin Long, died Aug 6, 1943. If you can help or have any suggestions where I could look I would appreciate it. Im North Texas and its almost impossible to get there myself. Thank you

I just wanted to say "Thank You" for adding my "Uncle" to this website. Gooch was my mother's cousin but because they were both born the same year they were more like brother/sister. If you ever need to transfer his memorial on this website to me, feel free to do so as I am the family historian/genealogist/records keeper, etc., as well as a member of Find A Grave. But again, I just wanted to say "Thank You" for making sure that he is represented on this (one of my favorite genealogy websites) website.
