You're welcome! And thank you for your kind words. I wish the photo could have been better, but the engraving on the stone is a little faded. Cleaning it off didn't help; what I thought was dirt is just a discoloration, possibly from being near trees and having accumulated debris on the stone for long periods of time. Anyway, that is why the photo was taken at an angle: to try to capture all of the words, if possible.

Glad to be able to help. I also reshoot and posted for the monument next to it - Edward T. & Mary D. Ford and Sara M. Smith. Most likely they are also your relatives. Take good care.
|BjJ||Dilger photo request|
Regarding your photo request for Charlotte Dilger, I am sorry to inform you that there is no tombstone for her. I have previously photographed that entire section she is in and found I had no photos for her. This would not be unusual since she was an 8-day old infant when she died and also that she died in 1868. I did, however, find another Dilger that was buried in the same plot: Henrietta, who died at 5 months in 1875. There is no stone for her, either. Hope that helps some.

if she is related, send me a SAC via the edit button and I will be happy to transfer her the hubby and baby.

You are very welcome. Had to get out and about so just a few blocks to cut over to the cemetery from where I was going. Day was sunny and 40ish without much wind so easy enough to hop out of car and snap.

You're welcome, it was my pleasure.
I am sorry to receive your message concerning transfers. I see you are a fairly new member of 8 months and have only contributed 4 memorials of your own. I have transferred almost 1400 memorials and all within Find A Grave rules. BEFORE you request a transfer - have you considered using the Virtual Cemetery feature? It's an easy way to collect all of your ancestors either in one big VC or you can have several VCs for various family lines. It's not about the numbers with me. It's about trying to help people find their loved ones within Find A Grave guidelines. After receiving your caustic message, I will be certain to make sure that all rules and guidelines are followed if you request future help from me.

I am always happy to transfer family members within Find A Grave guidelines. I am just as happy to add information and links to memorials that are not transferred. Thanks for understanding.
All the best.
