Genealogy is one of my hobbies, the others being Jane Austen, movies, website design, and my job.|
And, of course, I love visiting cemeteries and photographing headstones for people. There are some cool, out-of-the-way country cemeteries here in Mississippi, so it's sort of a road trip and a scavenger hunt rolled into one, and you can't beat the feeling of helping people!
If you are the friend or relative of anyone on a record I've added, I will be glad to transfer the admin/ownership over to you, so just let me know. I'm not here for the numbers.
Feel free to use any photo I've uploaded to this site for your family tree on Ancestry or wherever. You don't have to ask. Credit would be nice, but it's not like I'm going to go looking.
The link on my profile will take you to the genealogy site I maintain for my family.
In memory of my sister, Emma Louise Baldwin King (1988-2011).

You're welcome. It inspired me to take more pictures of this small cemetery that was started by two of my great-grandfathers!

On behalf of a grateful Shaner family, "Thank You" for your time and your talents!
|Patricia Marburger||Margaret E. Carmichael Stapleton|
FYI - Re Margaret E. Carmichael Stapleton buried Andrews Chapel Cemetery, Clarke Co MS - this Margaret is not the daughter of Archibald Carmichael and Katherine McQuaig. They did have a daughter Margaret born 1827 and died abt 1899/1900 There is some confusion on this person.

Thank you for the birth info and tombstone photo . I had tried to find birth info on ancestry.com with Social Security , was reluctant to call and ask her sons or daughter just for that even though I grew up with them , and never got around to going to the cemetery and searching for the tombstone .

Thank you for going and looking. We were hoping that her family would put her a headstone.
