A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to squeeze its body through the tiny hole. Then it stopped, as if it couldn't go further.|
So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bits of cocoon. The butterfly emerged easily but it had a swollen body and shriveled wings.
The man continued to watch it, expecting that any minute the wings would enlarge and expand enough to support the body, Neither happened! In fact the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around.
It was never able to fly.
What the man in his kindness and haste did not understand: The restricting cocoon and the struggle required by the butterfly to get through the opening was a way of forcing the fluid from the body into the wings so that it would be ready for flight once that was achieved.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. Going through life with no obstacles would cripple us. We will not be as strong as we could have been and we would never fly.
So have a nice day and struggle a little and teach well.
I didn't know what to put here, I like this little story, so I thought I would share it.

Went today, visited all of the likely locations where he might be. Did not find him. Not worth a problem report. I'll keep him in the back of my mind.

You're very welcome!
I was lucky; Id brought a list of the photo requests, and a worker alerted the caretaker about my photo taking and the caretaker took the list and helped me find most of the people on it.

|PattiL||Your photo request for Martha Cleveland-Sutton|
Oxford Cemetery, Henry CO, Illinois-I am local to this cemetery and got notified of your photo request. There is already a memorial and photo for Martha. Her last name at time of death was Wilbur, not Sutton. She was married to a Robert M. Wilbur by 1850. According to the Wisconsin state marriage index on ancestry.com:
Wisconsin, Marriages, 1820-1907
Name: Robert M Wilber
Marriage Date: 26 Aug 1847
Marriage Place: Dodge, Wisconsin, USA
I added the memorial for Martha last year. #129900744.

Veterans are scattered all over the cemetery from all eras. Reach out directly to the cemetery - their phone number is on the link on the cemetery page (from Find A Grave), ask them where he is. They are typically very helpful. I can't do that myself, because I'd be asking for 2,000 missing people.

You are very welcome! I really enjoy adding pictures of the graves and then helping the family with edits to add more info
