Hi, I'm Suzie. I became interested in genealogy in 2007 after my father passed away.|
If you would like to use the photos I have taken for your personal family/Ancestry trees, please credit Fluttergirl.com. Fluttergirl.com has been my own personal domain and signature since October, 1999. I very much enjoy photographing graves and cemeteries and I am more than happy to share my photos with you. Just please, credit Fluttergirl.com for use of the photos. That is all I ask. Thank you.
I'm researching the following surnames: St. Arnaud, Malaterre, Bradford, Johnson (haha, good luck, right?), Wilmot, Michelsen, Backman, and Sundquist. Most of my kin are Indian (Native American - Objiwa/Objiwe/Objiway/Chippewa), Swedish, or French. My closest ancestors are buried in North Dakota (Burleigh County and Rolette County).
I am also working on my husband's genealogy. His family names are Salinas, Bailey, Hensley, Birch, Cochrum and Ezell. Hopefully by the time our children are grown, I'll have a fairly comprehensive family tree put together for them.
I live in Austin, TX, with my husband and our two kidlets. I enjoy riding my dirt bikes (yz250f & ttr225), learning digital photography (Nikon D90), genealogy, exploring cemeteries, and reading.
When I have extra time I comb through death certificates and old newspapers for memorials. If you have any information to add to a memorial, or if you would like a transfer, please leave me a message or use the "edit - suggest a correction" option. I am happy to transfer memorials to anyone who is in any way related to, or friends of, the deceased.

How do I list her parent's names and husband's name and a brief obituary of her. Right now she has nothing listed on her page. However, I really thank you for taking the time to add her to the Find A Grave database.

"Cousin Johnny" as we called him was the son of Mary Diggs, the sister of my Great Grandfather, Rev. Peter Diggs. I only recently discovered that his father (who I knew was a minister) was also named Peter, born circa 1814. I never knew cousin Johnny; I was 11 when he died, but my mother flew from our home in San Francisco (my home town, where I still live) to his funeral, and I knew his wife. As you can see by his calling as a minister, he descended from a lineage of preachers and teachers. The Diggs family has been college educated since the 19th century, and the teaching profession in particular, seems to be what many of those descendants stumble into, intentionally or not. In the past, I've visited Evergreen Cemetery, looking for his grave. I haven't been to Austin since 1994, but now, thanks to you, I can see my relative's grave. Thank you so very much. God Bless you.
