Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired naval officer. I am addicted to genealogy. I love puttering around in cemeteries, even if I don't know any of the people there personally. I like to find and meet new cousins that I didn't know previously and share genealogical info with them. If you go back far enough, we are all cousins.

Families I am particularly interested in include:
Zellner, Coffey, Harrell, Welch, Hayes, Rucker, Hipsher/Hipshire, Lorenz, Slocum, and Adams.
I have a special interest in the genealogy of many of the families who settled in Grainger County, Tennessee. They intermarried early and often, and if you are kin to any of them, you are likely kin to all of them.
The Millers were Volga Germans who immigrated to the U.S.A. in 1875. I have lots of information on them and the other Volga German families they intermarried with. I am happy to share with anyone who is researching that area.

I am always happy to transfer to a relative, even a distant one (unless they are my relatives, too!). I don't mind managing all the records I have created, but I am more than happy to transfer them to someone else with a direct interest to manage.

Feel free to use any photo I have posted. I wouldn't have posted them, if I didn't want to share.

Good Hunting!

Welch
Hi, I was looking at Minnie Louella Welch,#46634937 buried in the Walters Cemetery. My family lived in Cotton County, the Welches. My ggrandfather was Minor C. Welch. His brother was William Jackson Welch. Any info. on these families is appreciated. I don't think this Minnie is William's daughter, she was born 1887 and died 1951. You can message me at TeresaDahltdahle2014@outlook.com Thank you.

Rick, I forgot to give you the name of her daughter. It starts with an I..... and she is linked to her mother. Connie

RE: Mary Elizabeth Vaught Stinnett
Sorry Rick, I should've given you the memorial #39375326. It is for the daughter of Mary E.nee VAUGHT Stinnett. There is an added bio speaking of the Chickasaw Indian marriage of her mother. Thanks for getting back to me. Connie

Mary Elizabeth nee VAUGHT Stinnett
Rick,
I was looking at the note on Mary's daughters memorial about her marrying a Chickasaw Indian in 1896. Do you know the facts about that? I have found Mary in 1910, 1920, and 1935 and 1940. She is always living with one of her children under The Stinnett name. I am just curious. Thanks so much, Connie
