My name is Julian Tansell and I live in Worcester, England. I have been researching my family tree since 2000 with all the different spellings of it. Whether it's Tansell, Tansill, Tancell, Tancill, Tanzell, Tanzill etc. Headstones/monuments provide a lot of information for anyone researching their family tree. I have now started photographing not only headstones in my family tree, but any others that I can and I do some research on them before adding the memorial to make sure the information is correct as it can be. If you would like a photograph taken of a grave in Worcestershire and the surrounding area then please do feel free to contact me with as much information that you have. | |

 | RE: Smethwick/Uplands? Thanks for replying Julian. I don't have the IT to take an image and put it on-line myself so I would appreciate your assistance in due course. My own interest on Find-A-Grave is currently the Ascension Parish Burial Ground in Cambridge, as a result of my enthusiasm for molecular biology in the 1950's! I have lost count of how many entries I have added, but will be replying on other people to add all the images. Let me know when you next visit The Uplands. | | | Martin Packer
 | Smethwick/Uplands? Julian, is your "Smethwick Cemetery", Manor Road, Smethwick otherwise the 'Uplands Cemetery', Uplands Road please? Thanks, Martin Packer, Birmingham | | | Melanie Mitchell

 | RE: Thanks You are most welcome. Once you've added spouse and linked them you should be able to copy picture to your computer then upload yourself...but I'll be glad to do it for you if you prefer. Glad I could help. | | | Anne Shurtleff Stevens
 | Gilbert Winslow The next time you happen to be about the Old Ludlow Cemetery, would you be able to peek and see of you can find a stone for Gilbert Winslow or his brother Kenelm, who died about 1663. I am hoping the older stones are still intact. Wish I were there in your stead! | | | Marla M. from MO.
 | RE: Thanks I have added a photo the memorial for Mazo Tansil Grantges located in the La Plata cemetery, La Plata, Mo. Her memorial number is 65845970. Sorry it has taken me so long to get this photo taken and added but it has been very very hot in this area of the U.S. Have a nice day, Marla M. from MO. | | | VJMH64
 | RE: Tansil Hi Julian- Just for your own personal info, my mysterious name is Valerie! :-D I talked to the manager at New Hope today, and there is only one other Tansil there, but there is no stone. I did get what little info they had. Her name is Mary Tansil, and the date of her burial was Dec. 5, 1943 - which likely means she died a couple of days earlier. I got the exact location of her grave, so I can't get a photo of a headstone, I can get one of the grass above her! I'd make it look like an attractive landscape, of course... By the way- if you're allowed to yet- click the request button for those other Tansils at Mt. Hope. (I'll try to be sure I can claim them before some other mysterious person does. :-) -Valerie

 | About Emma Tansel at Crown Hill Cem. I posted a photo of the location of the unmarked grave of Emma Tansel. Location was determined by the adjacent marked grave of Robert B. Tansel also in Lot 704. | | | | [View all messages...] |
