Have been doing family history research for over 50 years now. I started when my children were babies and they are now all grown and have children and grandchildren of their own. I am semi-retired at the moment. |
I live in the metro Denver area but travel back home to Cheyenne county, Kansas quite frequently to visit my daughter and family. I would be delighted to take photos of graves in that area if needed.
If I have left a flower at a memorial site, the chances are very good that the person also appears on my tree at ancestry.com. Look there for possible genealogical clues.

Hi, I sent you an email. But the short answer is yes, I am related to James. He is the brother of my great-great-great grandmother, Orpha Ann McCann. I'm delighted to find out you are a descendant!

Not that I'm aware of. I'm decended from John Phillips, from Indiana who came to Nebraska in the 1880's.

Well I have found the paper that I found the birth date for Daniel R. Sad thing is that I cannot find the page that gives the source. It is taken from a county history book-but I cannot find the name of the source.
Under Joseph and Lucinda Bates Makings F1080
"Joseph's mother died in Peoria County IL, on Dec. 27, 1851, and is buried in the French Grove Cemetery there. Their first son, Daniel R., born Jan. 31, 1848, died Sep. 17, 1852, and is also buried there. The father, Robert Sr., was still alive for the 1865 census in Illinois, but does not appear in the 1870 census of Illinois or Missouri."

I'm sorry but I didn't create this memorial and the guy who did - John Melton - is deceased now. I'm part of a group (One Foot In The Grave) who is administering the memorials he created (a very large number). I would be happy to transfer ownership to you if you would like. Just need your member number.

they might. It would be a good place to start. You also could check the LDS pilot site to see if there is a copy of his death certificate on there that you can download and read to see if it gives you further info on him.

I have contacted the owner of Rosie's memorial and asked her to make the links to Rosie's parents.
Yeah, Colorado really is beautiful...
Please remove the flame you placed on the memorial to Glen Gerney McPherson Memorial # 77803037 and replace it with another photo. It is upsetting some in the family since he died in a fire at his home.
Thank you for your consideration,

|Terri Kallio||Iron Henry Mueller|
I believe we are cousins! I noticed the note on Ruby M. Mueller's memorial made mention that she was your mother. Iron Mueller's mother, Bertha, was first cousin to my grandfather on the Bebensee side of the family. Glad to see another cousin doing Find A Grave work. Would love to share information on family history if you are so inclined.
(granddaughter of Gustav Bebensee)

My suggestions is that after you take the pictures then put them in your pictures folder and then put them on a scan disk.

I found a picture for Albino Madrid and I put it on his memorial.
