Memorial# 53775610
Hello Debbie, I was hoping you would consider adding Thomas McGough Memorial# 53775610 to his parents William B. McGough Memorial# 44371007 & Wealtha Ann NIX Memorial# 49441941 who are buried in Old Flatwoods, Nauvoo, Walker County, Alabama.
Thomas McGough was one of the 13 sons born to my Gr-Gr Grandparents.
He was either born in Walker County or Coosa County, Alabama where William & Welthy lived after they married 1835 in Bibb County and enumerated in 1840 in Walker County. Thomas and 6 of his brothers served in the WBTS --four served the Confederacy while 3 served in the Union Army. Three sons were killed in that WAR.
Tom fought for the North in the Civil War. He fought in the 6th Ill Cal, CO "E", USA
Tom contracted Small Pox while in the service and due to lack of proper treatment, was blinded.

RE: Texanna and Eunice
yes i am related to the Alexander's......
first of all my moms sisters Addie Carden married Guy Otis Alexander who was the son of John Irvin Alexander and Rhoda Annie McCullar.....

not only was Guy my uncle by marriage but also my cousin by blood on my dads side of the family.
Guy's dad Irv was my paternal grandmother Sarah Cagle Martin Tirey's first cousin.....

Elisa Sanford
Texanna and Eunice
i have transferred both to you as you asked.

my late husband was a Sanford, he was part of the Sanford / Feltman / Brooks family that lived in the forest. his gg-grandmother was Aunt Jenny Johnson.

also Sarah Spillers who married Oliver Prue Gilbreath.......Oliver Prue is some of my Gilbreath family. Sarah's mother was Mary Tennessee Garrison Spillers.

if you are married to an Alexander we may be related through that part of the family .

Robert Duran ~
Hi Debbie
It is very nice to meet you. Sue is a very special person. I am so sorry it has taken me so long to answer your very kind message. Also thank you for visting my brother Tony Duran's memorial. I had the the prevledge of meeting ButterBean one time. My Brother use to know many of the famous boxers. He even was in the ring with a few famous boxers, including Floyd Mayweather. That is really neat that you worked with ButterBean's sister. He was really a great and popular fighter. Also, it is a honor to visit some of your memorials. Again, sorry it took so long to answer. Take care my friend.
