Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy for a number of years. I started when my father got ill with brain cancer. It became important to locate our family. I was able to give him a book on his family before his death. I became hooked so carried on From my own family of Shepherd, Hayes, Fry, Dubel, Harrington, Yancey, Grebner, Weisz, Weyer etc. to others like Ridgway, Hawkins

RE: William Timblin

The census records indicate otherwise. There's no way to enter Osceola Twp except to write it in the biography. Check out, also the cemetery, description page and this website: to prove the existence of said township. Find-A-Grave doesn't let one enter township designations nor does it record them.

The closest villages in Fond du Lac Co. are Armstrong and Eden.

No problem. I've been going through all the memorials for that cemetery. Lots of people make the exact same mistake.

RE: Kathleen
The point is if someone visits the grave, and sees the grave, and photographs it and they come to this site and want to search for Kathleen, they will not find her. They will see the grave says Kippley and they will come and search and cannot find her because you have Wipperfurth in that field. The search feature is not sensitive enough that it will pick up on the "Kippley" that you put later in the last name field. The last name field should not have any other words than the last name as it is listed on the gravestone. Here are the guidelines:

Per find-a-grave guidelines the surname field on the memorial should match that which is given on the gravestone. As I stated in my message to you, the name on the gravestone is KIPPLEY. Not Wipperfurth.
