I have been interested in cemeteries and such since I was a little boy. It started waaaay back when I would visit my grandmother in Springfield, IL (I cannot count the number of times I have been to Lincoln's Tomb at Oak Ridge Cemetery). Since then, I have frequented many a final resting place across many parts of the USA.|
As for the transferring of memorial pages, I have no qualms about it, just as long as there is a good reason or sense behind the request.

Thank you for the Gertrude Mook transfer. Much appreciated. If I can assist you with St. Louis grave marker photos, please do not hesitate to ask.
|Pam R.||Elizabeth Cash Parks|
Patrick - Would you please give me the location of her grave so I can add it to her memorial? Is T. G. Parks next to her? Thanks.

Thanks for the pic.
|Pam R.||Dollie Harbert Miller|
I did some further research of this woman and she is not the wife of John Harbert in Elmwood Cemetery. Thanks.

|Pam R.||Harbert photos|
Thanks, again, for these Harbert photos. I am working on a family tree for a friend whose great grandfather was John Harbert I and grandmother was Dollie (Cash) Harbert. May I use your Harbert photos in this family tree? I did create a memorial for a Dollie Miller at this link that I think is John Harbert I wife Dollie:
She is in another cemetery in Memphis per her death certificate that I found.

|Milbrey Heard||RE: Anne Perkins|
I do have some additional information on her. According to the 1900 Census, she was born in Dec 1863 in Tennessee.
I know that she grew up on land that is now the eastern half of Audubon Park. My great grandmother Fannie Goodwyn (Anne's sister), grandfather, and father also grew up there. See http://www.memphisbotanicgarden.com/history, though some of the names are not quite right (i.e., James Robert Heard instead of James Abram Heard, Jr and Charles Perkins instead of Newton Cannon Perkins, Jr). So, Anne was born in Shelby County (may have been in White Station...not totally sure).
Unfortunately, I can't seem to find her death certificate on-line, but am assuming she also died in the Memphis area, as her husband and her children remained in Memphis.
She and her husband had three children, two of whom are also buried in Elmwood:
- Sarah Elizabeth Perkins(11062656) married James Seddon Allen (11062654)
- Newton Cannon Perkins, III (10712484) married Margaret Mann (10712550)
Her third child was Anne Goodwyn Perkins (15 Mar 1899 - Jan 1989) who married William Goodlett Phillips (17 Jun 1896 - Dec 1967). I don't see either of them in findagrave, but they both died in Memphis according to SSDI records. I fondly remember going to visit Cousin Anne as a child with my mother. You may want to check to see if they are also buried at Elmwood.
Thanks for all you do for Elmwood, findagrave, and all us amateur genealogists!
