Lena Greenberg I was given the wrong information all these years per the cemetery. I know that is her and I put in her actual Jewish name in for you to add, but Lena for all intent and purposes was the name they used. I have the Plot 06-41 is that correct? I cannot believe you actually have a picture of her, that is great! She was one of 12 children as you can see I am putting this link together. I should have done this years ago. Two of her brothers are still alive, one is over 100 years old. Thanks
Lena Greeberg You took a photo of a Lena Greenberg in the Mount Zion Cemetery. I was told the name of the cemetery she was buried is actually called Beth Israel, 1068 S. Downey Road. What do I not understand. This is her no question about that.
RE: Louisa Schmidt Maier Thank you. No wonder, I never really looked back of the altar. As regards Osborne, makes sense he is near fountain, being that that is there "best area" and he was founder. Thanks again. I knew you'd surface eventually.
Louisa Schmidt Maier Gee, seeing the previous message, I realize I never got an answer too. If you know I'm interested.
I am also interesting in knowing where the crypt is of Louisa Schmidt Maier. I've looked and looked and can't find it. This is at your story about the Maier Brewery and you Cemetery Guide.com website. Enjoy that story very much and would like to find her crypt. Thanks!!
RE: Children of Hope School Fire Whooops! I should have been able to figure that out. It is a fine site with a lot of very good information. The story of the Hope School is such a sad one. It is hard to believe that there wasn't a better facility anywhere in Southern California, for the children who needed the services. How lucky we are to be living in these times.
