You asked about his parents... I have George King and Melinda Bales as his parents. I don't have anything else.

|Judy Buck-Glenn||Sarah Foote Hodge died 1918, buried at Redman's Cemetery|
I was unable to access the record through Find A Grave on Ancestry--it told me there was no such record when I clicked on the link, though her name and DOD on the linking page from ancestry, so clearly it HAD existed. I was only able to ascertain the record existed, which of course it clearly HAD, by going to Find A Grave and labouriously scrolling through hundreds of California Hodges until I came to Redman's. Of course it had to start with an "R"!
I have reported the problem to Ancestry as best I can, but I could only leave a comment and change her name to PROBLEM WITH THE LINK Hodge. There is no other place I can see to do more.
However, out of courtesy, I thought I should inform you as well, since I am not sure where the trouble lies, and if it is in Find A Grave itself perhaps it can be corrected from that end.

The public grounds section of Old Fairfield City cemetery is set just inside that cemetery along Stone and B streets. I made a rough layout map of the public grounds section when I photographed all of the known/identifiable headstones in 2010-2012, but because so many headstones are clumped together the map is hard to read. I do know where Malinda is located, though, so the next time you intend to come to Fairfield let me know via a message or my email on my home page and we can make arrangements to meet so I can take you to her. The headstone is broken/sunken so not much is visible - not more than was photographed, anyway. Although it might be possible to dig the headstone out and have it remounted doing so might damage it further.

Sorry! No information. Just walking the rows. Best of luck in your genealogical adventures. Be well and take care.
|Thomas L. Harman||RE: Joseph King Mast|
Thank you very much for this information on Joe King Mast.
I had his birth date, but that was about it, other than he had a wife named Mary L.
I do appreciate it.
|Thomas L. Harman||RE: Georgia Mast|
I have linked Georgia to her parents and have sent a request asking to link James Patterson Mast to his parents as well.
I have death dates and locations for all of Andrew and Joanna's children, except for Joseph King Mast, but no burial locations.

I have transferred your grandfather to you. Sad that his first wife died so young.
|Treasure Hunter||Just was wondering|
I was wondering if by chance you have a John David Mast Birth: 14 June 1914, Death: Aug. 9, 2002 Burial at Willamette National Cemetery.
He married a few times one of which is my great Aunt Goldie G. Copeland.Birth: 5 Sept 1910 in Kansas
Death:1986 in Washington. They married when they were in their 50's. I am mostly looking for Goldie's final resting place. If you have any relevant information to share it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time.

Have followed some of the discussion you have had about the Mast family cemeteries in Watauga County. The grave of Joseph Mast is in the Mast-Bingham Cemetery in Sugar Grove. I just listed this cemetery on Find A grave. There are four different cemeteries in Watauga (so far) which carry the name Mast.
I am working with Autumn to get all the graves in the right cemetery.
By the way. My wife and I just moved into Mast Ridge Farm. The farm of David Charles Mast. From my bedroom can see the Mast Cemetery Sugar Grove. From the ridge above my house can see the Mast-Bingham Cemetery. They are less than a mile apart. This cemetery is also known as the Bingham-Mast cemetery as it is on the Bingham Farm Property. I believe that some of the Mast family married into the Bingham family. There are about six Bingham graves in this cemetery but most of the rest are of the Mast family.
Hope this helps the next time you are able to come to Watauga County.
