Bio Photo I will no longer take action on transfer requests sent to me any way other than using the "EDITS TAB" on memorials I have entered. I'm open to transferring the management of memorials, providing the memorials are not in my direct line and fall close to the FAG relationship guidelines "more can be negotiable"

*****"PLEASE (Out of respect) do not post death certificates on any memorials I have "created" or "maintain" as the information on death certificates is not always accurate and the "Cause Of Death" does not need to be seen "THANK YOU"*****

Genealogy, begins as an interest, becomes a hobby, continues as an avocation and in the last stages, is an incurable disease.

I firmly believe that no one, no matter how "minor" he or she may have been, should EVER be forgotten.

I believe it is our duty to honor our ancestors, carry on their traditions, and never forget them. One way to do this is by visiting their resting place either in person or through their Memorials on Find A Grave.

RE: McCown Edit Requests
Texas, Death Certificates, 19031982 and LDS tree LDS# LC1Y-F7S

Joshua Wilson McCown was born in the old community of Towash. He is a 3rd cousin 2X. The last time I saw him and Maude was at a reunion down at Cedar Shores on Lake Whitney in 1960.

We are descendants of Dr Henry Young, Jr and Polly Whitesides

Off the certificate of death filed in Texas. Shows sallie on her husbands death certificate but shows Sarah on her death certificate. Both at the same home address

RE: Dollar Photo request
I understand, we have been fighting them too. I think with a wet summer that we have had, they got bigger and badder. Thank you

RE: Edit Requests - Baker-Lain cemetery
You are very welcome. I just wish I could find the rest of Mary Strong Moore's family. She was still with her father in 1870 and she married in 1871. But I can't find any of her family except her in the 1880 census. They moved to Texas from Georgia between 1850 and 1860. Her mother was dead by 1860, so I think her father probably died before 1880 and the two youngest girls may have moved back to Texas. And I wish I could find Mary's death information. It's surprising that there is no death date on her tombstone since three of her children were still living there when they died.

Thanks for letting me know about the duplicate. I don't know how it happened as I searched carefully, before creating the memorial, and she definitely did not show up listed in the cemetery.
