Bio Photo If I manage a memorial for one of your relatives and you'd prefer to manage it yourself, let me know and I'll gladly transfer to you. The only ones I won't transfer are my direct relatives.

NOTE - EDIT REQUESTS: If you ask me to include information on a memorial, please explain your sources. I've had so many people ask me to add information that was actually in error, and I'd prefer not to spread misinformation if at all possible. I spend so much time going back to fix error's made by the new "EDIT SYSTEM" (which I am not a fan of). If you have your messages disabled...and your email not available,.....DO NOT leave me an edit request. If I cannot contact you to verify sources, your edit will be declined.
Thanks for understanding...!!!

If you're requesting a transfer or adding information to a memorial, please use the EDIT tab on the memorial to send me the request/information. It makes it much easier to find which memorial you're talking about. Thank you.

I am not a "stickler" for the guidelines as they are only guidelines. It is not my intention to aquire large numbers of memorials. My desire is to create accurate, lasting tributes and to be able to aid family members and loved ones now and in years to come who may be doing genealogical research.

*****"PLEASE (Out of respect) DO NOT post death certificates on any memorials I have "created" or "maintain" as the information on death certificates is not always accurate and the "Cause Of Death" does not need to be seen "THANK YOU"*****

ONLY post photos for which "YOU" hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)!!!

You have my permission to use any "Headstone Photo" I have added to Find A Grave. I do not consider them my copyrighted material. I consider them as a courtesy to those who cannot travel to the cemeteries and take photos for themselves, So please use any of my "Headstone Photos" as you like.

RE: Mary Roessler Memorial
She may be in the same cemetery as her twin, but I have not had a chance to get to Houston to see. For some reason, we just didn't have that information. Also, there is an older sister, Sister Mary Helen Roessler, who was also a nun and we are not sure of her burial place.

For some strange reason, when I did a search for the Roessler sisters this morning, only one showed up. Is it possible that they could have been removed? They are still in my virtual cemetery.

Mary Roessler Memorial
Thanks for your interest in the memorial. The two memorials, one for Mary Rosalie Roessler and the other for Mary Rosalia Roessler are not the same. They were identical twins who entered the convent on the same day and died within six weeks of each other. They were my husband's aunts. I have had inquiry about these two memorials before.

RE: Edit request
Ethel Alene Poe's father, Maurice Lee Poe, is my great grandfather's brother Clifton Franklin Poe. My knowledge of the family link comes from spending many summers growing up with my Poe side of the family in Winnsboro, Texas, as well as attending many family reunions. I have several photos of Alene as a child. Other than knowing she belongs to my Poe family, I have no concrete proof. There is an obit online that names Maurice Poe & Jessie Maxey as her parents. I can sent that if it would help.

I kept the one with the stone still standing and added the picture of the broken stone.

Kirkpatrick markers
This is an interesting case. Possibly the marker that is broken and lying at the back of the cemetery was replaced by the standing marker for Antinette Kirkpatrick. It has to be the same person as it would be too much of a coincidence for the two wives of WA Kirkpatrick to have the same birthdate.
The only thing I can think of to do is put the pictures of both markers on one page with an explanation about where the broken one is found.
Thanks for the information.

Thankyou for letting me know about the duplicates. I have sent requests to the people that have been managing them to transfer it to me.

Allred family
They have been moved--sorry about that! Sometimes I don't know where my brain was. Glad you are working in Ridge Park. I got busy with DAR and didn't get back to work on it, but I can see it's in good hands.

RE: Euclid Hudson edit request
You are just so welcome. The Hudson's aren't a direct ancestor of mine but the Cook's are and I just love and get a sense of satisfaction linking families on Find A Grave. Thanks for your hard work and dedication.

Thank you for your patience with me; I was researching so much, too much! I went back over the original info I sent you and decided to dig a little deeper. I felt very confident that we had found little Laura Baker's parents. Thank you again for your patience and have a nice evening!
