Linda, thank you for your inquiry. Since my response will be somewhat lengthy, I suggest that you send me your e-mail address and I will send some data very soon. My response will include info that has been reviewed by several of the Reeves family members who are semi-professional workers in the field of genealogy, if not professionals in the full sense of the term. I, personally, have been doing research in genealogy for about 4 years and am confident that you will appreciate the story that I will communicate about our findings. You may contact me at Ron49linda49@aol.com. I look forward to hearing from you.

This is the only way I could contact you. But, I just wanted to tell you that they don't allow you to take a picture that someone else has posted and put it on your page. You might want to delete it and ask the person who posted it to put it on your memorial. I'll wait until I hear from you before I delete my memorial.

Thank you for alerting me to the problem with Elizabeth Adams Moulton's memorial. I appreciate it.
She has been linked to both a wrong mother and a wrong father. I think it may have happened when someone else suggested those edits. After time elapsed, it became an automatic fix. I had a number of things going on a few months ago and did not check Find A Grave for edits for a short time. I certainly did not link Elizabeth to erroneous parents, and I've removed them following your suggestion.
Thanks again for your help. Together we can get this right.
Regards, Mary Jo

On the Lester G Van Horn and Jane Dunbar lot are individual markers inscribed: FATHER, SISTER, HELEN, AMELIA, AND SIDNEY. Amelia and Sidney are easy to determine as Lester's parents. I am assuming FATHER refers to Lester who also has his name inscribed on the large monument. These individual markers on lots were often placed to signify burials on multi grave lots and since Lester was an earlier burial on the lot and by a process of elimination FATHER doesn't seem to apply to anyone else, thus my assumption. You indicate that Lester and Jane had a daughter Grace. Could sister refer to her? And who is Helen? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Upon researching my husband's ansestors, I came across this Find a grave memorial for John Smith... are you related to this John Smith? or do you just maintain the memorial? This John Smith is my husbands 8th g grandfather

Hello Linda, thank you for your message! I suspect the memorial I created for Thomas is possibly just a cenotaph, as his death would have occurred before the cemetery existed. Unless for some strange reason he was removed there much later. You are of course correct that the monument is modern and this is why I feel that they were listing the ancestral line backward, not naming those buried there. I will mark the memorial as likely a cenotaph. I am sure you are aware of Find A Grave policy regarding cenotaphs, one should be created any time a person's name is listed in a cemetery, unless the person is buried in another area of the same place and marked there as well. In that case all photos should be added to just one memorial in the given place. Hope that makes sense! As this is a valid memorial in any case I am going to transfer management to you now. Thanks! Jim

I think I have it figured out now! Joseph Hampton Ladd, Issac Newton Ladd, Joseph H Ladd, Noble Ladd is how the line goes. Right?
|Joyce Payton||RE: Ladd Cemetery N Chapel Rd Franklin Tn|
I've very confused now. Could you give me some dates with these names so I can figure out who is who? I may have mistaken the Joseph Ladds and hooked up with the wrong family going back in time.
My great great grandmother is Julia E. Ladd 1860-1897 for sure and she was married to Andrew Moore Jarrett Irvin 1862-1929. I have Julia's parents as Joseph H. Ladd 1816-1910 and Emily C. Waggoner 1820-1910(about). Is this your family? I have Joseph's father as Noble Ladd, but that may be where I got lost.
