We have found a wealth of information on many of our ancestors through the memorial pages, and the headstone photos that many wonderful volunteers have taken for us. We were excited to see our numerous headstone photo requests answered by volunteers throughout the United States, and I decided to become a photo volunteer in our area, too. In addition to taking the photos requested by others, I also enjoy volunteering my time to take additional photos of nearby headstones. |
Although there may be a rare occasion when we forget to thank a photo volunteer for taking a picture, or another member for transferring a memorial page, it is not intentional. We greatly appreciate everyone's kindness, and the time and effort that go into driving to the cemetery, locating the headstones, and taking the photos. Thank you very much!
Dupes & Memorial Transfers:
We always take additional photos when we are at a cemetery, adding them to existing memorial pages, or we will create a new memorial page when one does not exist. Although we search the website thoroughly before creating a new memorial page, to prevent dupes, we are human and accidents may occasionally happen! However, we do not intentionally dupe memorial pages, so please show the same consideration and do not dupe any that have been created by others or us.
And, we are happy to transfer memorial pages, as long as the individual is not directly related to my family, or my spouse's family.

Do you have a transcription of the photo at this memorial for Martha W White? Several names on the memorial are in my family tree.

I'm working on a volume of grave locations for veterans of the USCT. Could I have your permission to use the picture you posted of Moses Archer's grave in this compilation? I will cite you as the source.
Thank you for updating this memorial. I appreciate all your hard work. Brenda

Would you please transfer my great-uncle's site to me?
For a long time I have been trying to find a living relative (my cousin(s)) to a long lost aunt- Ester Belin, b 2 Jun 1901 in Lanse, PA to John Lars Belin and Elizabeth Fredrika Eriksson, both from Sweden. In 2008 you photographed 2 headstones in Evergreen Memorial Park that I think are my aunt and her husband - Ester Belim (sic) Jacobson and Roy Carl Jacobson. Is there a way of finding a relative? I know they had a son, Roy W Jacobson.
Thank you for your photo service.

Not sure you can help me, but its about Oak Grove Cemetery in Portsmouth. It looks like he is next to another stone but I can't find what that might be. He was married to my great grand aunt, and I don't have a clear name on her. 1900 census looks like Maurie or Mamie. She died before 1910 I think.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Oh my goodness! I am so excited! Would love to correspond with you. My email is email@example.com
William and Martha Flowers were my great-great grandparents through their oldest child/daughter Mary Clarissa Flowers Eggers. Would love to know Nellie's story too. We live in south central Iowa at this time......I was born/raised in St. Joseph, MO. Nellie was one of my GG-grandmother's younger sisters.
Look forward to hearing from you again.
