Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Cassie and I live in Collier Township, PA, on the outskirts of Pittsburgh. Since I was young and growing up in Georgia, I have been fascinated with cemeteries. I enjoy visiting cemeteries for the history, as well as the peacefulness I feel when I am there. I often just drive to a cemetery for a long quiet walk. After finding this website while researching our family tree, I became a volunteer and started taking my camera with me on my walks. I often find myself snapping shots of older graves or graves with photos on the headstones, as these intrigue me the most.

If you are looking for photos of a grave in my area, please email me directly with as many details as you have about the grave and it's location. If it is located in an area that I am familiar with, I will do my best to locate it and fulfill the request in a timely manner! Thanks and happy hunting! =)

Hi. I am president of Moon Genealogy Club. We are doing a project at this Cemetery and taking photos of more headstones, including trying to find the headstones for all 24 current photo requests on Find A Grave. I see that you've taken a few photos there & live in this general area. We are a small group. Might you be interested in working with us and taking some more photos there? Please let me know.

John McFadden Sr's Memorial# 32164249
An Incorrect Headstone Photo of John McFadden Jr -1807-1870-Memorial# 32164236 was posted in 2009 on his Father >>-1766-1836- John McFadden Sr's Memorial# 32164249...but it seems that no-one noticed that the dates on the white Headstone didn't match the dates of John Sr's marker already there...
Could you kindly remove that Incorrect Photo..??

Thank you for your efforts & assistance...

Cassie, I would love to have a picture of this headstone, but also, I am wondering if this is a relative of yours and would you know his parents name. He was a very favorite uncle of mine, but only an uncle by marraige. His wife, Fern Castle was my Dad's sister. Now that he is passed, I am trying to just get his parents on to the genealogy if possible. Dee Morey

Bill & Cassie,

Thank you so much for taking the photo for my Uncle Jeff. It's much appreciated, as I don't get up to the Pittsburgh area very often.

Thanks again!

William J Harris

Are you related to William Harris? I am a descendant of his Father, George Harris. Do you know where in England they were from?

Thank you,

RE: Elmer Maurice Abel
I added a family photo, showing them all as adults, for you. I do not see the grave stone photo that you mentioned in your email.

Elmer Maurice Abel
Could I get you to add relationship links for my great Uncle Elmer Abel to his parents? They are Maurice Morris Abel 22336112 and Mae Elizabeth Abel 22336757. Thanks!
