Each time we embrace a memory....
We meet again with those we love*
The Story Tellers
We are the chosen. In each family, there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve. Doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts, but instead, breathing life into all who have gone before. We are the storytellers of the tribe.
(author unknown ) I love running to cemeteries close by and searching for those I've never been to. I've had many adventures from getting chased by large dive-bombing mosquitoes out in the middle of nowhere to discovering many old buried graves and working carefully to bring them back to their rightful place.
I have a Virtual Cemetery for "Military". It contains as many local and family members as I remember to add. This may be of interest to those dedicated to covering our history.

Memorial# 135442036 for Lois Davis Summerville Moore; her stone shows she died on Feb 20th but in the wording on the memorial it states Feb 19th. The correct date is Feb 20, 2005. Please correct this if possible. thank you for all you do!

Thank you so much for all that you do! You service to the ancestors is so much appreciated. Discovered today that you have found my great grandfather Abraham F Royer in the Locust Grove Cemetery. I have been looking for his burial site for over 30 years and up until today I had no idea where he was buried. I am doing the happy dance right now. :)
Your memorial number is 89446092. Could you please transfer him to me and I will merge your wonderful site with mine of 70481762.
With so much gratitude from myself and my ancestors!
