I have been doing family history research for over 12 years. Needless to say, it has become a passion. I have visited many county Genealogical Societies in PA, MD, VA and NC and have received a great deal of assistance from the local volunteers. Becoming a volunteer on Find A Grave is a small way for me to repay their kindness. |
I will add or correct information as quickly as possible. Please use the edit tab on the memorial to send any corrections, additional information or to request transfers.

You have this person in two cemeteries - is that correct? 136475488 and 98383610. I gave you links to his parents - his brother just died.

i would be glad to take over this findagrave site ( #82891955 and 36619107) for sarah jane mitchell jimison, as well as her husband, pinkney alexander jimison, as they are my great aunt and uncle. If you are related i also understand that, and that is fine. would love to hear how you are related, if so. thank you. Deb Sojka (email@example.com)

Hi Ms.Thomas, ihave just begun a family history journey. My grandfather is Lattie McIntosh born April 9, 1916. My grandmother is Pearl Lee Randolph McIntosh.
The number listed is 86960218. The Parents and siblings you have listed for my grandfather are incorrect. Please edit this information and I will get back to you with correct names. thank you

Hi Donna, I think defiantly that Samuel is buried in Cane Creek. He is in the older section, but not his wife. His memorial # is 59615163. The gal that did his memorial didn't add all the information from the stone. The memorial also said, "died Dec 24, 1897" which makes his birthday March 18, 1825. This is from Cane Creek inscriptions, compiled by Auslaud and Ledbetter
I agree that you are right and Buncombe should be the death county. Thank you so much for your help and anything you can add or errors you find I would appreciate hearing from you. Blessings

Thank you, Ms. Thomas. I have made a note of the cenotaph and the memorial# on his Florence American Cemetery memorial. God Bless.
