I have been doing family history research for over 12 years. Needless to say, it has become a passion. I have visited many county Genealogical Societies in PA, MD, VA and NC and have received a great deal of assistance from the local volunteers. Becoming a volunteer on Find A Grave is a small way for me to repay their kindness. |
I will add or correct information as quickly as possible. Please use the edit tab on the memorial to send any corrections, additional information or to request transfers.
If you can not reach me through FaG please feel free to always use my Juno email.

I have came across a death letter for Otis N. Franklin, that was that was found in a 3 ringed binder that was bought at a thrift store in crossnore NC. The letter was signed by President Jimmy Carter(President at the time) he died, even tho he was a WW1 vet. I myself am a veteran and know how important stuff like this is to family. I would like to locate the closest relatives so I can return it! You can email me at Jared.firstname.lastname@example.org

Joseph Good (buried in Good cemetery) would be my great grandfather's brother. I didn't realize there was a "Good" cemetery in Marion until I started researching family history.
I understand this cemetery is off of the Blue Ridge Parkway but I haven't been able to locate. Do you remember how to get there?
Thank you for any help you can give!!

Thank you so much. My husbands grandmother is wanting to visit Tommy one last time, as he is her son, but we didn't know where he was buried. Thank you for your time.
|Jatanna Willis||Hubert Lenvil Greer|
Hello! I am looking for some information that you may be able to help me with. Hubert Greer is my husband's grandfather. My husband's grandmother recently told me that her and Hubert's infant son is buried with Hubert's father, that you have listed as John M. Greer. Could you tell me if John Greer is buried at McDowell memorial? Their infant son's name is Tommy, is there a marker for him?
Thank you so very much,
|Sandi Danielle||RE: William Grantham|
You're very welcome! I found him during a search for another William H. Grantham, and there are 3 of them from virtually the same area in North Carolina. So I've been able to narrow it down to 2. :-) Blessings, Sandi :-)
