Bio and Links
Bio Photo I discovered Find a Grave by accident soon after the death of our precious daughter, Marjorie. She was my first entry. I have added family members, friends, and others that I have no connection with but simply wanted to add them on these pages. I will have more of my family entered in the future. My wife and I are retired and we love it! I love riding the back-roads on my Harley and can't seem to ride past an old cemetery.....I love walking through them and find peace and quiet in them. Thanks so much to everyone that has placed notes, tokens, and have sponsored my memorials. God bless you all.

RE: Thank-You
Hi Tom:
That big boy is a buffalo I think as all of the signs in the park say "Buffalo are dangerous,do not approach"...that day was so much fun w/Don (my husband) as he always got the biggest charge out of those huge critters :-)

Take care,

Hi Tom! So good to hear from you! I am doing

OK with the weather, meaning no cold or flu, but

the ARCTIC WIND really whips me! I am not

outside, much! I have been feeling especially

tired, lately: all that work I did, serving the

drinks to the players at the trivia pursuit game

just BEAT my body. To add to it, a couple of

days afterwards, I did something stupid, that

caused a lot of further strain: Anne The Idiot

put a GLASS of wine on the door of our fridge.

Sure enough, later opened the door too strongly.

The wineglass slid off the shelf on the door and

crashed to the floor! Wine all over the fridge,

wine and shards of glass all over the floor.

I spent HOURS cleaning that mess up. However,

the fridge had some big old stains in it, from

when I'd spilled soda, so I was SO PLEASED to see

it so clean, when I was done! Also, a week ago,

Bill and I went bowling with some friends. It

was GREAT FUN, and boy, did we need to go out

and do something with friends! We had a great

dinner afterwards. HOWEVER, in terms of my BODY,

that was HARD on my right arm. Finally, I've

been going through two big garbage bags full of

newspaper clippings, special TIME magazines about

the century 1900-2000 that were "the best leaders

of the world" or the biggest events of the

century" or (still done now) one certain topic,

or person. Also, all my notebooks from the

journalism courses I took in college and books

about proofreading and editing. Once I finally

get these organized, in this little room which is

my office, Bill is putting the smaller section of

the front room couch in this room. That may take

some serious rearranging, but it's worth it.

I really have to watch it! Meaning not overdoing

it, in the winter. After volunteering at that

TP game, which meant five hours of running around,

nonstop, my bones and muscles were so sore, I

could not sleep...same thing, after cleaning out

the fridge. I've noticed, the pain is the worst,

IN MY FEET! I used to wonder, even when it was

not winter, WHY my feet hurt so much, once I was

in bed. So, Wynonna Judd has sung, I WANT TO KNOW

WHAT LOVE IS! She has such a strong voice, (in

a TV film about THE JUDDS, she tells

Naomi, "Rolling Stone says my voice sounds like a

combination of Elvis and Patsy Cline." I'd love

to hear her sing it...I remember, her husband was

in a terrible motorcycle accident, but he slowly

recovered, with a lot of TLC from his wife!

How SWEET of you to put out all of that seed,

for the birds! I love rabbits, so I wish I could

have seen that one, who was helping himself!

Yes, getting that dental care was a big chore,

and I feel like I climbed a mountain, to get it!

I've done some other mountain climbing, with the

things I've told you about. Speaking of, Bill

and I saw WILD, a film based upon a true story,

of a woman who hikes The Pacific Coast Trail.

BEAUTIFUL scenery and a great story: she hikes

to straighten out the mess she made of her life,

and the intense grief she feels, as her mother

died all to soon, of cancer. Reece Witherspoon,

who portrayed the woman, is one of the nominees

for Best Actress, due to her great performance.

However, I KNOW Julianne Moore will win, for her

RIVETING performance in STILL ALICE, which is

about a woman dealing with the early onset of

I want to THANK YOU, for your support, as I deal

with my health and losing weight. I think my

physician will be pleased...if I have not lost

weight, then I've maintained. NO, I did not

know of the difference between the Catholic and

the Protestant crucifix! So interesting!

I know THIS: God does not care where you go to

church, as long as you SHOW UP! AND follow His

Word. I've recently learned of ABIGAIL, who is

in the Old Testament, Book of Samuel. Her husband

Noab refused to feed David's army, even after it

keep his flock from being taken by the enemy.

David was leading the troops to kill Noab, but

Abigail gathered a LOT of food, and met David,

begging him to leave her husband alone and to

take the food. David spared Noab and later her

MARRIED Abigail! That supports me SO MUCH, in my

being in Soldiers' Angels! My soldier is doing

fine. (He does not fight, so I don't have to worry

about him, much.) My parents are enjoying their

last week in Florida. NOW, to watch the pre-

Oscar shows, then THE OSCARS!!! I have the TV

occupied for the night and everyone knows NOT TO

DISTURB ME! YES, no sweets for me and I THANK

Hi Tom, Keeping Warm?

Hi Tom, just a quick note to say hell0 ad to

tell you I am doing well. I have had some fun

with friends: helping to sere beer and soda

to SIX HUNDRED people, at my parishs's ninth

Trivial Pursuit Game, then, just this past

Sunday, bowling and dinner with a friend from

another town, and her family. Her dad paid for

dinner for EVERYONE! My friend and I have a

deeper relationship now: I helped her last

summer, as her husband was hospitalized, due to

a terrible lung infection.

I've begun some spring cleaning and organizing...

also, I FINALLY have new dental insurance, after

HOURS of work, most of it over the phone.

I hope you had a lovely, romantic Valentine's Day.

My husband bill and I had a romantic dinner at

home. he gives me red roses and pink carnations

with baby's breath. I have to put the bouquet in

my curio cabinet, or our cat, Ashton, would EAT

the flowers! A funny thing happened: the poor

florists at Marsh, what a terrible thing to have

to deal with! All of the pink carnations were

ROTTEN, so if any were ordered, the employees had

to spray white ones pink! Mine were hot pink, at

the edges...ugh, they looked lovely, but smelled

like the spray paint used! They are FINE, now!

We danced, before dinner, to the same song we

danced to, at our wedding: it was a very

popular love song, "I Want To Know What Love

Is", by Foreigner, a rock group of the 70s and

80s. I gave Bill a set of Stetson cologne and

aftershave, as his gift.

Tonight, we went to Ash Wednesday Mass, and

had a fish dinner. Would you believe: we

stopped at our drugstore, afterwards, and a

WHOLE AISLE, one side, of Easter candy and

those big baskets with toys was out? It was

surprising, but what a BEAUTIFUL breath of

SPRING! See Ya Later, Alligator! ANNE
