I have been actively researching my family lines since 2004 and have found so much interesting information. I have found cousins I never knew I had and met many wonderful & helpful people on this site as well as on Ancestry.com. |
I wasn't much of a graveyard visitor until I lost my husband, who was only 36, due to leukemia and a few short years later lost my infant grandson due to Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (born with only 3 chambers to his heart instead of 4). Now, I have lost my very best friend, my mother, to a rare blood disorder that brought about Leukemia and lung cancer. Experiences in life certainly have a way of changing your perspective about things.
If you have the time, please stop by and visit the memorials of these 3 very special people in my life.

I must say, I truly admire those volunteers who have adopted and transcribed entire cemeteries & photographers who go the extra mile to fulfill requests.
Transfer requests are welcome for all who are not in my family line and please feel free to use any photo that I have taken. Credit is appreciated.

Thank you very much. It looks as if you've had more than your share of sorrow. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
I would appreciate your transferring the two DeJernett graves to me. Cigale DeJernette was my father's sister. How are you related to her?

Mine are probably much older. I will ask her daughter, Regina if she has one. Or one of my other cousins that lived in this area may have a good one.

Dianne, For your family tree I wanted to let you know in case you don't already, that the name of Tom C. Humphrey (Lois' husband) his father's name was Chism C. Humphrey, not Chris as is named on his findagrave. He went by C.C. or Chis. I find it incorrect on so many family trees.

That is wonderful Dianne. I was hoping to put a photo of her on the page. You probably have a better one than I do. Her daughter and grandchildren are on my facebook page. I added the marker I had made for their graves. Uncle Sonny died in January. I will go get a photo with his death date added and then I can change it. I like it so much better when a family member is the manager of the grave site. I am glad you want to keep it. Thanks, Jody

Sorry, the number for Lois is Memorial# 37640371 I forgot to copy it. Thanks, Jody Dillard

Dianne, If you are not related to Lois Gentry Humphrey could you please transfer her to me. She is my aunt. I would like to put some more information about her on the page. If you are related then we should meet. Jody Dillard, Seymour, TX

Diane, I have the full obituary for James A. McEwen buried in Megargel, TX Cemetery. If you want to transfer him to me I will put that obit in his bio. If you prefer to keep it I will type it into the message section and you can transfer it yourself. As you know, those of us researching our families love to see all the names of other family members in the obit. I am working on a lot of cemeteries in this area to get them posted with photos and bios. Would be happy to help you in any way I can. Thanks for your good work.

I've been emailed by Ancestry that Joseph Cummings 31549097 and 18541404 have been merged. So 18541404 directs you to 31549097.

Thank you so much for the transfer.
