Happy to be retired. I have found that participating in both Find A Grave and doing genealogy work on ancestry.com at the same time is very satisfying. I've met many generous, helpful, and nice people on this website. You will, too.

USE THE EDIT TAB, on the memorial you are asking about, for whatever you want me to do. PLEASE don't send me an email.

I am VERY WILLING TO TRANSFER memorial management to another person, if requested to do so (if it is not one of my own family members) Just let me know how you are related, even if just a friend. I strongly believe these memorials are not mine but belong with someone who knew that person, or the family, or was a good friend of the family. I may have created the memorial but I don't own it . . . it belongs with someone who knew the person. Please send transfer requests through the EDIT tab. I'm not going to get uptight about transferring. Happy Volunteering.

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind always be at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the rain fall softly,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

If you just sit in a church, it doesn't mean you are a Christian, just like if you sit in a garage, it doesn't mean you are a car.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!

--Hunter S. Thompson, The Proud Highway: Saga of a Desperate Southern Gentleman, 1955-1967

********************************************************************

One ship sails East,
And another West,
By the self-same winds that blow,
'Tis the set of the sails
And not the gales,
That tells the way we go.

Like the winds of the sea
Are the waves of time,
As we journey along through life,
'Tis the set of the soul,
That determines the goal,
And not the calm or the strife.
