Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm recently retired and ready to start a new life. I still want to spend time working on Find-a-Grave as I enjoy it but I do plan to spend less time on-line and more time in the world.

I'm caught up to about October 23 correction suggestions. I won't be seeing emails, messages or corrections until the next time. Thanks!!
Catching up from recent surgery

Many already know that I transfer memorials liberally, but if you didn't know, now you do. If you want all of a particular last name in a cemetery to take on as a personal project to put the pieces together, just let me know. Or if you want everyone in the same plot, I can do that too (as long as they are my memorials). I have plot information for most, not all, of my memorials. I've only denied a transfer request once for my 2nd great grandfather. I'm not related to 99% of my memorials.

Thank you for all of the corrections. I get so many correction requests it's impossible to thank everyone individually. I'll try to stay caught up weekly but may miss that mark occasionally. If you think I've missed your change request, feel free to send me a reminder. I won't be offended.

Newer published obituaries (after 1922) should not be transcribed to avoid copyright infringement - Instead, reference the obituary so others can find it; update the memorial as appropriate with information found; omit names of people who are possibly still living. I hate to see these come in because I know what an effort it is to transcribe them. I won't post a word for word obituary that could be copyright protected. A summary is perfectly fine.

Thank you for all of the updated information!

Please don't leave change or transfer requests on my message board. It's extremely difficult to keep up with these types of requests and I miss most of them. Requests should be made with the edit button on the memorial

Looking for someone interested in translating Latvian historical records. I can't read them but I'm happy to document in English. (I leave this note here to remind me that I have an on-line source for Latvian records that I would love to find the English translation)

Thank you!!!

Does anyone know if Julia had a sister. I have a CDV taken by same photographer in Fremont, Nebraska as Julia's. First name on the back is written in pencil but looks like Louisa? Cleland. Thanks.

G'day Graves,

You did sterling work for me earlier in the year in tracking down the grave of Daniel Carroll in New Orleans. I wonder if you could look into your crystal ball again and track down the above for me. He won 4 gold medals at the St Louis Olympics in 1904; he features in the College Basketball Hall of Fame; he was decorated in WWI; but he's not on Find A Grave!! Born 22 Dec 1883 in New Rochelle, NY; died 28 March 1941 in NY.

I'm going through all the US summer gold medalists and finding a lot of them on Find A Grave, but some who should be like Hurley are not. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I did not know you also had information on my step grandmother's tomb. Please take the information on my site and include it on your site then, I will omit the duplicate.

Thanks for all you do.

Edward H. Hamilton
You have 2 listings for Edward H. Hamilton which both are the same person. His wifes' name is Patricia A. Corbin whom is on the Tombstone in 1 listing is there a way you could combine the 2? Edward was my 2nd cousin. It might be confusing to some. THANKS Leroy
